Firehouse Subs

We love this place! I do have to leave. Great review, because this was the friendliest and fastest service we’ve ever had! We were helped by David, who got our very customized order spot on! He even walked over to us with our takeout bag. Awesome food for dinner tonight…right along with awesome assistance!

I was craving a good tasty sub with good bread and delicious filling and they did a stellar job! My friend and I love the same sandwiches so we decided to get a large and split it. We ordered a Prime Rib Steak Sub and doubled the meat, added cheddar in addition to the provolone, went for reduced fat mayo, and added triple sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions as well. We also ordered a bowl of their chicken and dumplings soup and 3 chocolate chip cookies. I ordered online through their website. It was quick and easy with LOTS of different options to customize our sandwich. When I got to the restaurant I was the only person there, (I went around 7:30 PM). The manager greeted me as did 2 other employees. I felt like Norm from Cheers! I went over to pick up my order, the manager apologized as they were out of the chocolate chip cookies so I asked for Oatmeal raisin instead and he gave me 2x extra ones. The chicken and dumplings soup was stellar! I was expecting your typical from the can bland soup but I wanted something hot and soup like on this cold wintery night. I was surprised! The soup was thick and creamy, seasoned perfectly, I could taste the freshness in the vegetables and the dumplings were the perfect size and firmness! the chicken was tasty and the spices were perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. The sub. Oh the Sub. I felt as if I'd trekked over to Ruth's Chris and ordered a perfect medium rare Prime Rib! The steak was delicate but perfectly roasted, the pairing with the cheeses and vegetables was a work of art. We both ate about 1/4 of the total sandwich and were stuffed. We now have leftovers that I am excited for already! All in ALL a true 5 start experience. I WILL be back.

Just tried firehouse for the first time. Wow absolutely delicious meatball sub!! The marinara is seasoned perfectly, they don’t fall apart and they are BIG, unlike subways. They are more expensive but soooo so so worth it. Our son had no complaints about the grilled cheese either (: just dinging a star since we are a bit lower income and this would definitely have to be a once in a while treat for us and wish we could do it all the time! YUM!

I've only been to Firehouse Subs twice and both were at the same location. I had what I believed was called a New York Steamer which is Corn beef and as na Irishman it was really good and stacked with corn beef. My only complaint was the wait time and it was a bit costly, but again it was stacked with meat. Due to cost I wouldn't go there a lot, but from time to time when I want a treat it's a great place to splurge.
