Ihop

Except for the nice waitress, there is no redeeming qualities about this place. I believe it should get a Health inspection based on what I, as the customer, can see. Upon entering, two employees looked our way and then went about back socializing for the next 2 minutes. Normally, I would not consider this an issue but there were only 3 or 4 tables being served at the time and no reason to make people wait to be seated. While waiting to be seated I couldn't help but notice the excessive amount of trash/dirt/food on the floor. Since there was hardly enough customers to make this amount of mess I was a bit perplexed. In all fairness, there was a group of tables pushed together for a large group which apparently left sometime before I arrived. But it only got cleaned once I was nearly walking out from my lazy meal. Well to keep from writing a novel about an undeserving business, here are some bullet points: *Leaking roof with a catch bucket in middle of walkway as you exit the restroom. No signs to warn you. *Loose faucets in bathroom. *Nasty corrosion/grime around faucets. *Ripped fixture off wall, and general disrespect for building maintenance. *Except for my own waitress, the employees make it seem as you are more of a burden to them than the primary source of their income. (Not sure where this originates from. Could be caused by strife between employees and/or management.) *The food was not really worth the cost. This could be overlooked but not with all the other issues. Well that is it. Simply go somewhere else the next time you are in the mood for an omelette or hashbrowns. There are more than enough other places. And it is only a matter of time before this place gets shut down for one reason or another.

At best it's like fast food in a restaurant setting! Waitress was nice but, not really attentive and needs service training! Country fried stakes over fried, lacking on country gravy, cold steamed broccoli with cold crumbled cheese that cost a $1.00 extra, runny mashed potatoes! And the fact that you are brought the bill with the food before you get a bite is ridiculous and unprofessional! If they are under new management then the manager needs more management courses and server training for the service staff! With one of the few late night places to eat in the parish it's sadly pitiful!

Second Sunday we have eaten here. Both experiences were terrible. The hostess is a young girl with limited personal hygiene, who clearly is not profient at her job. She is very easily rattled and confused. She maybe would make a better waitress if given only 2-3 tables. She seems to confuse the waitress's with her seating. And they think nothing of arguing in front of customers waiting to be seated. Long story short, this place needs manager, on the floor. Not in the kitchen.

Worst IHOP I have ever been to. We've gone twice in the past couple months, same server both times and horrible service. Our entire order was wrong on both trips, and this time all of our food including pancakes and eggs were so cold it tasted like they just came out of the refrigerator. When we requested for our order to be fixed, we were charged extra for replacement food. Then, when we bring the errors to the attention of the server and the staff, they argue about changing the bill or problems with the order. This last time there was a very nice lady manager that fixed our bill and apologized while the server was still continuously arguing about it. I'd go to waffle house or drive out of my way to go to another IHOP to not go to this place.

Waited ten minutes to be seated. Then server was nice but food ordered to go took over 20 minutes. Looks like theyou where under staffed because they had no hosted and only 3 ladies on the floor and looked like two cooks but just slow and no Manager, unless they in the kitchen smh, never saw this in any IHOP ever!

Restrooms needed attention. The floor was wet and they toilets were very nasty. Toilet paper and paper towels on the floors. The restaurant part, Carpet was very clean. Tables were also clean. Service was slow because they only had one person working the floor. Although she was very young she was very nice and polite and made sure to ask on several ocassiksn if everything was fine but not overwhelming feeling.

Awful just awful. I ordered an appetizer when we placed our drink order it took 30 minutes (to fry cheese sticks chicken strips and onion rings) they bring the plate out and it looked like they just dropped the food on the plate the presentation was horrendous. Then 5 minutes later our food comes out (were still eating the appetizer) I got the philly cheese steak and wouldn't you know it the steak was hanging out. I was optimistic when I saw a sign saying "Under New Management" but its still awful, just awful.

Omg, this place was very busy and very short of staff. Customers was waiting long periods of time just to be waited on. Half the customers was complaining and walking out. One lady said she was there for two hours and had no service and left. Luckily me and my boyfriend was only there for an whole hour total, thanks to our waitress Debra. The food was ok but the hash browns was over done, but I didn't complain because I walked passed the kitchen where there was only two cooks in the building on a very busy Sunday morning!!
