Giving one star was generous for the experience my family and I had eating here. After reading reviews, my family and I decided to stop for a late lunch passing through Cedar Rapids. We should’ve just left when we pulled in the parking lot and didn’t see any cars. The menu was taped down to the counter, the woman working was far from helpful for us being new customers. The food came out very fast, so fast it was questionable. This was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever ate. Actually this was probably the worst dining/meal I have ever experienced eating out. The canned Chinese food at grocery stores were more edible than this. The rice had no flavor, the chicken in the meal was slimy and almost didn’t seem cooked all the way, the crab Rangoon had the strangest taste along with the egg roll. We ended up throwing our meals away after a couple bites. I have no idea how this place has the positive reviews it does. Save your money and go elsewhere!

My hubby and I have been coming here for almost 20 years. The food is TERRIFIC, the service is EXCELLENT and the delivery is extremely fast and Never had a wrong order. The owners are fabulous and have gone the extra mile time and time again.

I've been ordering food from here for over 20 years. The owners are the best, super friendly and welcoming. The food is great, always consistently the same with every order. We've tried other places and always compare them to Egg Roll house, and none ever come close.

Its different then the Chinese I'm use to in Ohio, but it was actually really good. Only giving 4 stars because they were not flexible with making any changes or extra requests, but the food was worth it!

The BEST Eggrolls in CR! My husband won't eat any other kind of Chinese food, but specifically SW side Eggroll house. The owner is always polite, courteous and provides hot, delicious Chinese pick up within 10-15 minutes. This is a family owned business and my husband remembers when the current owner was a young girl cleaning off tables and working for her parents. Now she is in charge and her daughter answers the phone occasionally and takes orders. Great local business to support! My 18 month old loves these Eggroll's so much, he will recognize the box in the fridge and insist he have eggrolls for breakfast!
