Good food. Unfortunately sometimes not the most consistent. If you are doing to go make sure your food is prepared as ordered and with the correct items. (Ordered a club but came with out bacon) Small place understand the need to reserve seats for “paying “ customers but don’t appreciate the tone. Better way to say this is “Due to limited seating, we ask that all seats be used only by paying customers “

It's a good place to meet up with people. The tea is okay, but I have never gotten a clean cup on the first try. I always get handed a cup with coffee grounds in it. know its a coffee house, but I really seems like they store the cups under the grinder, at least that's what I hope is happening. I always have to ask for a different cup. I have even gotten a cup with lip stick on it. I like that they offer the option of tea bags or a steeper.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. I used to go here all the time before it switched owners a few years back. Was great when Lee owned it. Polite, hard working staff, clean, great food and coffee. Now with new management every good thing about the place is bad. I went there to work on my dissertation because I needed a change of scenery and it was convenient. The service was very rude, the food was just ok, coffee was terrible and they ended up closing early without giving an explanation the staff just asked us to 'finish up and leave, thank-you'. Will never go back.

The chicken noodle soup. It's simply amazing. I have a ranked list of the best places to get chicken noodle soup, and Java Creek Cafe has been #1 ever since I went there. I simply cannot impress upon you enough how good the chicken noodle soup is. I wish I could rate this place 6 stars, no, 7. It has an extremely cozy atmosphere, with comfortable chairs, a fireplace, board games, modern art, and more. The workers are friendly and all the food is good. A fantastic place to meet new people, study, or simply relax in the ambience.

Very good drinks and food. I ordered a smoothie and got a lemon berry creme cake with it, it was delicious. The whole cafe looks very cool too, I wish I had time to sit! Staff was friendly and handling the rush well. They have a rule that tables are for customers, so don't come to just sit and not order something (the menu looked amazing anyway). They are rather pricey, but I didn't mind as it was really good quality. My smoothly was actual fruit and not the powder that some places try to get away with. And that creme cake was amazing (made there!) You could easily do lunch here. They have tons of options for food, not just drinks.

I will say that my coffee was good, however that's about all I can say. The service was very curt and the restaurant was not very clean. It had very dusty ledges and the bathroom had no toilet paper as well as a full trash can (at 9:30am). It clearly hadn't been cleaned yet. This used to be a cozy and very friendly coffee shop, but it's going to have to raise the bar to compete with the new, trendier and friendlier shops popping up in town.
