Billy Sims is a nice restaurant with friendly workers. Very clean and reasonably priced. The food is very good. The brisket is tasty and lean so little fat. The baked potatoes are HUGE! It’s like two meals.

We have visited Billy Sims numerous times, usually taking our food to go. My husband LOVES their ribs, never uses a sauce just likes them by themselves. They have a good salad I like with brisket pieces. Their potato salad is great! Must try for sure.

I have eaten at Billy Sims BBQ 3 times now. The BBQ is all good. The baked beans taste like they came from a can and their potato salad has no flavor. Mac N Cheese is pretty good.

Well I'm from Texas originally and finally broke down and gave this place a try. Got the 3 meat dinner. The sides were OK and the hot link and turkey were OK. But the sliced brisket looked and tasted like beef Jerky. Where in the barbeque world is that OK? Nowhere.

Compare it to the Subway of Ribs places. Not a place I'd take the family to for a nice sit down meal. Ribs are OK, but I don't think they're made on location, I saw them cutting mine out of a vacuum sealed bag prior to cutting them up. Employees were kind and helpful. Service was quick. Most people were getting take out.

Best BBQ in Cedar Rapids In my opinion... Very reasonably priced for the amount of food.. Amazing smoked flavor.. Don't need the sauce but that was pretty amazing as well!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Pretty good Oklahoma sauces, friendly service. I did not like that their loaded baked potato (comes with meat and all toppings) is priced $8, and a regular baked potato is $5 (just sour cream and cheese). Seems a little steep for one potato in my opinion.

Visited with my wife for our 4 year anniversary. We each ordered a legendary spud and a half back. The service was great and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and above all the food was fantastic. SE of the best ribs I've had in years. Definitely will return.
