Curry Pot

We have been coming to Curry Pot Indian Restaurant often and every time the experience keeps getting better! The food we believe is the best North Indian food one can get in and around this area. Food is just awesome! We ordered different dishes each time we came and every single one of them was great! The staff is very nice and helpful and the service is very prompt as well. Overall a great restaurant in this part of the town and will surely keep on coming!

I was a bit skeptical at first looking at the restaurant from outside. But boy I was so wrong. I am so glad I came to this place. The best authentic Punjabi food I have ever had, and finally my search for a nice Indian restaurant has ended. More than the food, the owner is a very down to earth person and has pure intentions. Don't blindly trust my words, just go there once and you'll be a customer for life!

First time visit for the dinner Delicious!!! First off, the restaurant Great atmosphere. The dinner was so good. Very fresh and the food presentation was very pleasing . Lots of vegetarian options. The meat was very tender and fresh tasting. Nice selection on the salad bar. And the spice was not too spicy so lots of people can enjoy it, but no lack of flavor! The service was lovely. The staff dressed nicely also and were very friendly. I can't wait to visit again and introduce friends and family to this spot.

My wife and I are relatively new to Indian cuisine but, here in North Carolina's Triangle area, there are so many choices that we decided to give it a try. The Curry Pot in Cary is our fourth venture into the "world of curry" and it is our uncontested newest favorite. My wife found something she liked on the first try (Butter Chicken) and always orders the same thing so her evaluation is probably the most valid. Well, her verdict is "Most Excellent!" She is a little shy when in comes to spicy hot food so, when the chef (and owner) came out to our table to ask, specifically, how she would like the heat level, she said "mild". The Curry Pot uses a 1 - 10 heat level but he was able to correctly discern that "mild" equated to a "1" and he hit the nail on the head. She cleaned her plate. She said the freshness and flavor easily were the best she had since our journey into Indian food began. I had the chicken Bhuna, which I had not tried before so I can't compare it to any other preparation of this dish. Nonetheless, I will report that I, too, rated my meal "Most Excellent!" I had asked for a "6" on the heat scale and I would say that that was exactly what I got. My plate was also ready for the dish washer without having to be first rinsed off. I was happy too, because the Curry Pot was, of the places we've visited, the easiest on the pocket book. In summary, excellent food, good prices, and great service. We'll be back!!
