Que Pasa

I have been here 7 times and I have never really like the food. The reason I come back is because they have Ice cold beer mugs, serve the beer cold, and for a really good price. However, with the exception of one Bartender that works there occasionally, the wait staff seems indifferent. The Food is over priced for what it is. Once I ordered the tacos al pastor and the asked me if I wanted Cilantro and Onions with it (since that is the traditional dressing for it). They brought out a small dish of diced onions and cilantro, but charged me $3 for each small dish, so I paid $6 extra for something that should have come with the plate that was $10. Another trip, I asked the server for a small cheese dip and before she had left my table, I told here I would prefer the sampler instead. She told me that was a better idea because it included the cheese dip. She then brought me out a cheese dip and then the sampler, with another cheese dip. I told her she already brought me the cheese dip but she told me not to worry about it. I didn't eat it and they still charged me for it. When I explained, they told me basically sorry but they brought me out 2 cheese dips so I had to pay for it. So since I paid for it, I did take it to go. Last time I went, I ordered a Chile con Queso which is a Tostado covered in Cheese dip with some ground beef. I figured they couldn't mess that up and at $6, it should be a good snack. They brought me out a taco shell broken in half with a couple dribbles of cheese and some ground beef. I didn't touch it and finished a couple of beers, leaving in on the table the whole time. When the servers asked if everything was ok, I told him "Not at all" and pointed told him the Chile con Queso was disappointed. He told me OK and asked if there would be anything else. I said no, got the check which included the Chile con queso, and that was the last time I have gone in there. I gave it the 2nd star because they are open later than most of the other restaurants in town and when the Owner's father was visiting, he was a really nice guy..... and the really ice cold beer. Truth be told, I will end up going back next time I am in town but I will stick to the Ice Cold beer. They get that right.

I just showed back up in Carrollton oh again and the chimichanga man was it good and the portions are still big. I also cannot tell you how good this home made chicken soup is. Wow talk about a diamond in the ruff. This place is off the chain good. The portion of of the food is amazing as you can tell by the pictures. The quality of this food and please excuse me for saying this but for a small town and to find this kind of food and the service is amazing.

Courteous from the moment you walk in till you leave. Well attended during the meal. Prices are reasonable. Appealing surroundings. Portions are great. Cleanliness down to the bathroom wonderful. Ah food taste you say, I love heat but the food here needs no extras the flavor is just so satisfying with every bite. Quite satisfied. Next time I'll get pics too!!!

Visited Saturday evening with my sister. The food was very good, fast and hot. Our waiter was awesome!, upbeat and polite. My sister placed a second order that was to go, which also was fast & good..however she didn't get chips & salsa w the to go order so, as we paid she asked the lady cashing us out.. (a blonde w curly hair) if she may have the chips & salsa w that take out order..to which the woman very rudely said "you have to pay for them" "do you still want them?" My sister said yes of course. Then asked if they stopped giving them w carryout orders, she said "no u do get them w carryout but since u ate other food here, u do not get some to go without requesting and paying additionally for them" That didn't make sense to me, and she was very rude after an otherwise enjoyable visit.

High hopes, but they were dashed. The place is fairly large and decently decorated and clean. The main issue we had was our server. She seemed overwhelmed and frazzled, which I can sympathize with, but she didn't seem concerned with making anything easier. She barely returned to the table and then still managed to forget part of the order. One item was missing entirely, another was prepared incorrectly and with another, she forgot what meat was requested and came back long after the order was supposedly submitted for clarification. A couple glasses went without refills and no dessert was offered. Just the bill. My plate (Huevos con Chorizo) was ok but a bit bland. The vegetable enchiladas were very tasty. Likely will not return but with better service and a different order, your experience could be much better.
