Chicken Express

If I could give this establishment a negative rating I would. I ordered the 16 piece express wings for 14.99, they gave me this box of chicken nuggets claiming they no longer have the 16 piece express wings with bone in. This box of nuggets is supposed to be equivalent to 16 pieces of express hot wings. The ordering menu hasn't changed despite the manager's claims of the recent changes made it the last month. They would not refund my $14.99 this place has really gone down in quality and I will no longer be eating chicken express. Other places will try to compensate for the mistake but not this establishment.

Their customer service was 5 stars! I only gave 4 due to missing my gravy. I checked to make sure all the food was there, and it was. Normally the gravy is in the box with tenders. I got all the way home and had to drive back. Its a 22min drive there and back, so food was cold by the time I got the gravy home. Definitely frustrating.

We just moved to Carrollton and this is by far the worst Chicken Express I have encountered in its order accuracy. The two times that my fiancé and I have eaten at this location, they have forgotten our fries in at least one of our boxes. The receipts always show that we ordered fries, but the boxes were missing them and its honestly frustrating for it to happen the first and only two times that we have visited. The cashiers have also been super apathetic and seem to not want to help anyone when we go through. I’m not sure if I will ever give this location a third chance. If I’m really craving the chicken tenders, I may just go to the next town instead.

This is the only Chicken Express we visit, because it’s literally right next to our house. Every time we go, without fail, the person at the window is extremely rude. Today, around 12:30 there was a young lady at the window we had never seen before, and she was EXTREMELY snarky and disrespectful. We are not the type of people to complain, I understand people have bad days and things happen, but we were so blown away by her attitude, I don’t know if we will come back. My husband ordered our food as usual and mentioned he wanted an extra side of corn nuggets with his meal. She seemed confused and asked what he wanted for his side, and he said corn nuggets, and he wanted extra. She replied with “well maybe you should be more clear next time.” When he was already as clear as he could have been. Chicken Express should remember that these employees at the window are the ONLY ones we will come into contact with, and when they pick people with bad attitudes, it makes the customers not want to come back. I am so disappointed with today’s experience, I am willing to drive to other cities just to avoid this location.

Well this was actually a good fast food experience. The meal was fresh, hot and tasty. I got a corn on the cob and it was Not overcooked. The young man at the register (with the cast on his arm) was mannerly and friendly, which was quite refreshing these days. I hope his good customer service is reflected in his paycheck.

Have always loved this Chicken express but it is clearly poorly managed. Broken drive thru intercom for at least a year(Maybe 2). Today was the last straw. Pulled into the drive-up, pressed the button and sat there for 20min waiting. Was never even greeted for someone to take my order. Don’t think I’ll be going back to this location any more. Sad.
