Sibling Spice

My fiancé and I’d favourite Thai restaurant especially for takeout. The portions are extremely generous and thoughtfully packed. We’ve ordered from here 4-5 times now and without fail everything was perfect. Absolute flavour bomb. It’s so rare these days ordering takeout and seeing how most of the dishes we ordered came packed with fresh veggies and meat. I will absolutely continue ordering from sibling spice every time I crave good Thai food. Can see by how everything is presented and flavoured that they really care about the quality.

My partner got their main quite promptly while mine took over 40mins to arrive. The service is awful and I got glared at for asking to have my dish checked up on. (There was just one young man who seemed friendly). The noodle dish was sweeter than I expected as well. The decor is really nice but overall I would not come back here.

I used to come here all the time and loved the food and service, but unfortunately I can't say the same after lockdown. We came here in a large group (7 people) with a booking and the service was awful. Firstly, my plate was dirty with a sticky residue and I had to ask for a new one. They have also gotten rid of table service, so we had to go up to the counter to order, but the menus are different at the counter to the ones that we are given which made it hard. Then, the food came out at disjointed times, some people received their mains early and others on our table had to wait 10-15 mins for theirs to come. The waitstaff did not talk to us at all, and we weren't given serving spoons for the dishes even though it was clear that we were sharing. The lighting was also really harsh and bright inside which worsened the experience. Trying to get new water was also really difficult, as we were pretty much ignored once our dishes were served to us. Overall, the food here is pretty good, but just not worth it for the service, which is a shame as I used to love coming here.
