Went for drinks (excellent), chips and guacamole (also excellent) and to chat. All was well in that arena until the musician started to play and it was too loud. It's a small place so needed a bit of adjustment. We may have stayed for another round, but it got uncomfortable.

Love going to happy hour for tacos, sliders, and a beer. The atmosphere and the bartenders are awesome.

Went for happy hour. Sliders and nachos were discounted - both were fantastic. Ordered craft cocktails (margarita/paloma) - also fantastic. The bartender/server (Lexi) was friendly, attentive, and kept great music playing the whole time we were there. Highly recommend.

Watching Nica practice her craft, and pass it on to her coworkers, was nothing short of a privilege. Sitting at the bar and paying attention is truly a Master Class in bartending. I haven't been to every bar in Carmel, but I am confident that this is one of the best bars in the city.

Staff was outstanding, friendly, and really tried to get to know a little more about you. You don't see a lot of that now.

When you get here ask for Lexi or Alex. Great atmosphere, music at night, incredible cocktails. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Carmel come to Barmel! Music is Top 40 whatever the crowd is going for. Look forward to a great night.

Lexie and Chris were the best! Made our time at the bar so much fun. Lexie is an amazing bartender, knows how to recommend drinks and serves up killer cocktails super fast. Will be back just for her banter ☺️

Probably the only place open late in Carmel. The bouncer working the night of 7/14 is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The sliders and nachos were also incredible and reasonably priced, especially for it being late at night.

Wonderful lively atmosphere for gathering with friends. The manager was spectacular- attentive and kind, as was our waitress.
