The Egg & I Restaurant

First experience was wonderful! I loved the healthier food options, like whole wheat pancakes or more veggie options than just peppers (like asparagus!). The pricing was good and included eggs and meat instead of offered as an up charge. Lastly, service was great and they have a wonderful outdoor patio area overlooking nice brush and trees instead of a parking lot. Found my new favorite spot!

Kathleen was the waitress we had and she was absolutely amazing. We went in late Sunday morning and there was a wait. You could tell everyone was a little overwhelmed from the hostess, to the young gentleman cashing everyone out, to taking to go orders, to picking up those orders, to getting people coffee while they wait. The food was amazing, and everyone was so friendly (even though it was hectic). I would highly recommend this place. And Kathleen thank you so much, you were absolutely great! I appreciate my two large coffees to go. :)

I've come several times and have never been disappointed. The food is great and I never have waited too long for service. They have a very unique and diverse menu to choose from. People who give this place a bad review need to get the stick out of their a**. What more could you ask from a breakfast place? It is already hard to find a good one anywhere these days.

Decided to try out Egg and I despite several negative reviews. My wife and I now have a new Saturday favorite and purchased gift cards to come back with others. I normally don't write reviews, but found the negative reviews all so wrong, that had to provide this 5-star. We loved the extensive menu, and look forward to trying many other egg entrees. This place puts LePeep's to shame, and we like LePeep's too. I enjoyed the seasonal Holiday Hash with poached eggs over potatoes and greens. Didn't know it didn't come with toast, but our attentive waitress threw it in no charge. My wife ordered buckwheat blueberry pancakes with eggs scrambled and loved her meal too. Hazelnut coffee was also very good. Both our meals under $10. Wow! Our waitress, Christine, recommended coming back at a less busy time to receive better service, but not sure service could be any more outstanding, despite a Sunday morning at 11:00. I also looked around, and found many other smiling, happy patrons in a full restaurant with 15-20 minute wait. Glad those with negative reviews aren't coming back, so my my wife and I can continue to enjoy this new favorite with shorter wait.

A family friend recommended it to us. We were seated right away and there were several people there. There were 6 of us and the waitress was accommodating. We came in at two different times, she offered us coffee and came back when everyone was where to order. The food came in good timing, nice and warm. The Mexican omelette and skillet were tasty, but I would recommend the salsa on the side. The pumpkin waffle was the best. We actually had it has a desert with our hot coffee.

Good service and the food was the best. The corned beef was homemade and better than anything I've ever had and I've tried many. Wife had waffles and eggs with sausage. Make sure your hungry. The portions are large. I had to help the wife finish off her last sausage pattie. It was seasoned to perfection.

First time here for me. My daughter and I had brunch around 9:15 am and the food was fabulous. Very warm and tasty and very filling. The bacon was cooked just right. Ditto for the eggs. The service was very prompt. The waitress refilled our drinks several times. I left a big tip. We were very pleased and will return.
