Ordered the Vegetarian set meal for 2 on deliveroo. Just an insane amount of food for the price and the quality is always amazing. This could easily serve 3-4 people, so it’s a bonus for us to have leftovers the next day. This is our go-to for indian food :)

Ordered a takeaway through deliveroo, was a little late but this was due to it being match day. I had a veggie meal (tikka paneer) and my partner had the tandoori meat platter. The whole thing was utterly delicious! Will definitely buy again!

Food was amazing, service was excellent, atmosphere was superb and overall good vibe. Good portion size, excellent value for money and food quality was great. Service was fast and food tasted fresh. Personally I think it's the best Indian in cardiff. Family thoroughly enjoyed the meal👌

Stunning meal. Meal for one is amazing value. Friendly and helpful staff. They forgot my poppadoms but they delivered it to me with extra chutney. Couldn't recommend more!! Freebies too.

Just eat order, rang up to ask if we could change a curry from the set menu, more than accommodating. Food was delicious and still perfectly warm when it arrived. Chicken Rogan and Passanda were 10/10. The set menu for 2 was amazing deal lots of food could easily be shared between 3 maybe 4!

We have been having takeaways from Dalchini since they are opened and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. It’s the best Indian food in Cardiff “ highly recommended “ Thank you keep up the hard work.

My partner and I usually collect food from here, but last night we had our first delivery and the food was beautiful, as always! Every meal is tasty with big portions full of meat! They forgot our free bottle of pop last night so a bit gutted about that but the friendly service in the shop, and friendly delivery driver made up for that! Our favourite Indian in Cardiff! Last night we had a lovely takeaway. Food was delicious and full of flavour. Every single item we Had was really nice including the rice and popadoms. You can tell how fresh it was. I been coming here for years and honestly food is amazing for the price.

Absolutely delicious food every time. Always arrives quickly and the best curry I've had in Cardiff. Great quality meat, super flavourful dishes and staff are always very polite. Can't recommend it enough.

My partner and I regularly now - absolutely beautiful food and brilliant customer service! Last time we ordered set meal for two; my partner loves the vindaloo and I always go for either the lamb bhuna or lamb dupiaza... always full with lots of chunks of yummy meat! Also highly recommend the chicken chat and bombay aloo - super tastey!!! We wont go to any other curry house now... these are the best in Cardiff!!! See you again soon :)

My name is Yousef, I am leaving a review here to say that I had an absolutely outstanding Indian take-away from this place on the 8th October 2017.
The portions were a good size. The meat was fantastically cooked; the spices were excellent. The bread just perfect.
I am always looking for good Indian take-aways around here but as I don’t have a lot of money I only do it as a special treat. As such I want it to be really good and worth it. Dalchini’s was exceptional value, exemplary quality, and much more pragmatic than other places. They have a very good website for direct orders and they accept card payments over the phone.
The food itself was so good that I will be ordering again from them. It’s really hard to explain the standard of the onions, prawns, chicken, and lamb. Sublime. I went for a wide array and every aspect of it was attentively considered.
I called them to say I thought it was excellent and asked where I could leave a review, and they said ‘Google please’. And so that’s why I am here writing this.
I get a VERY strong impression that these people take serious pride in what they are making and selling.
I highly recommend them.

The Dalchini is much better than the outside would suggest for dining in, they currently run a online voucher system, register and receive a 15% takeaway discount and a 20% dining in discount. The food has some great subtle flavouring.
The price for most meals is fantastic, a typical meal could easily come under £10 and they have a £7.95, 4 course meal deal which is unbeatable.

I went here for a mate-date with one of my housemates and we had a fantastic time. We went in on the off-chance that they might have seats available, which they did. We were shown to our seats by a friendly waiter and settled in for a long night of laughter.
Our food was just lovely, though perhaps not quite so good as some of the other restaurants around here, and we were well attended to.
The restaurant itself is nicer than its outside suggests it be, so I'm glad we took the plunge and went for it. It reamined fairly empty for most of the evening so I hope that was just because it was midweek, and not because it's normally empty. It's too good a little gem to lose.

I have not eaten in the restaurant but this is the best take away Indian in Cardiff. Reasonably priced and they deliver if you are close by. The tandori king prawn is better than any other i've tried. Be warned on the weekend there is a 45 minute wait so get your order in well before you want to eat.
