Starbucks is one of those places that to me signal not work not home, an in-between space.
I like the store has big seating area upstairs making what seems a small crowded shop into somewhere you can sit and relax.
Good variety of cakes etc and coffee types as well as offering tea etc.
Staff were friendly and prompt with service, making it easy to get ordering done.
Quite a lot of stairs to manage to get to seating area but seem to remember there being a lift. It's as accessable as you can make an older building. Disabled toilet, no steeps on entry. Tight space in queues though that's a pretty standard thing.

I do not think I have reviewed a Starbucks but felt it necessary to state how friendly the staff is, how clean the inside and how inviting an environment. Different treats here to the US and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Thank you!

The Starbucks porridge is always amazing. This specific branch is huge and there’s always room to sit down. Plenty space on the 2nd floor

Great branch of Starbucks, located at the top end of Queen Street opposite the Castle.
Coffee is great here and staff are friendly. There’s loads of space inside and is a cosy place to pass some time or catch up with friends and family.
Recommended and will visit again.

I had a decent experience in Starbucks had a strawberry iced tea and basically chatted with friends. The service was decent didn't have to wait to long in being served staff were friendly enough this was on a Sunday afternoon too .
