Stopped twice here recently. The first time for a coffee and decided to return to try their breakfast. Wonderful clean, modern interior. Excellent, filling breakfast, good value with locally sourced ingredients. Had visited their previous site in Llandaff and good to know they are still serving the same quality food. For those who are walking the Cardiff Bay barrage it’s a great place to stop if you’re doing a walk from Penarth and back. The building is easy to spot in the distance too as the red brick stands out alongside the BBC studios. Will definitely call again.

My photo of the Welsh Breakfast doesn't do it justice. The slow cooked pork with beans was incredible. This was easily the tastiest cooked breakfast I've ever had. The service was great too, well worth a visit. My one criticism was the tea; they have loose leaf pots but put bags in the filter (which didn't allow it to brew properly). They either need to use loose leaf or don't use the filter (and maybe use different tea). My wife enjoyed her Welsh Rarebit and said the coffee was great.
