D & E Pizza

So typically I have a great experience with this pizza shop. Tonight was quite the opposite they got my pizza wrong 2 times in a row! We also ordered the crispy coated fries and got the regular fries . They're not reading any of the slips. The third time I just lost my appetite because I read the receipts myself they are simple, if you can't follow the simple instructions you should not be working behind the line. It's really disappointing because this is my go-to pizza shop and it's local to me. I will continue to order eventually if they start paying attention to the order slips before they go out. I did speak with Nick who was very nice and offered to comp The Original Pizza and give me a credit back through the app I ordered with. But unfortunately tonight I have to go without dinner. They weren't small mistakes either they were big mistakes completely wrong items. It's unfortunate. Hopefully next time I can give a better rating.... I'm sure I'll get the same generic response that all the other lower reviewed comments received that they will make improvements etc etc. If the owner actually took the time to address the concerns rather than using the same exact response for everything it would show they actually care about their business.

My very first time trying D & E out. I found them when I googled "pizza near me" because I was on a mission to find an amazing pizza Well, "mission accomplished!". I haven't had a pizza this good for many years! I highly recommend it. I promise you that if you give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

I placed an order requested contactless delivery. The instructions I left were "ring bell walk down the stairs and leave at door with glass window." The point of this is to use the door as a barrier between me and the delivery driver. The delivery driver who disregarded everything written and started to approach the door. I let the unmasked ungloved (even though it's the law!!!!!) Know to leave it at the door. With a smirk he replies "oh leave it here" and drops my food on the floor. I typically wait for the driver to leave before retrieving my food but with the attitude of this driver I rushed through the door to get my food. No sooner do I open the door does the disgusting germ ridden delivery driver starts open air hack coughing. Like seriously? If this is the attitude you're business is going to take during covid19 just close down. We called to explain to someone the experience we just had with the delivery. Of course we were treated as if we we're the problem. Completely dismissed and we're told "Oh and about the cough he's a smoker you do understand smokers cough right?" So you're breaking the law and now you speak to the customer as if we're stupid. Like you have an issue with reading and comprehension yet I'm talked to like I'm stupid. I spend my money I expect respect instead you get mediocre food poor customer service and talked to like you're an idiot. I read a review from 2 months ago mentioning they weren't wearing masks. That customer was told they will resolve the issue. 2 months and still no masks. This place is going to be the cause of a covid19 outbreaks in canton if they don't do better and resolve this. Absolutely disgusting🤢
