Basket Shack

I've gone for breakfast twice. Some of the food is precooked, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, and gravy, but it's much better than I would normally expect. My only critique is those items are not very hot when served. The sausage gravy is better than most and even when you order items that have to be cooked fresh (over easy eggs) they are really quick. Biscuits are very tender and thick. If you prefer thinner or crustier biscuits you might be a little disappointed but overall this place is solid. Portions are large.

If you want an incredible burger done without regard to cardiac health or fat content... This is the place! They have the absolute BEST Burger with cheese, chili and mustard. Order it with the battered fries. Yeah... I said battered fries. Your whole meal will set you back a whopping 7 bucks, but your taste buds will thank you. So will your cardiologist. For this meal... It's worth it all the way. Same owners since 1969.

Oh my goodness there's not a place around that makes the best hamburgers in the world except the basket Shack. For my birthday my husband asked me where you want to go for dinner at the well I would really love to have a hamburger from the basket Shack and that's exactly where we went man their burgers are amazing and their batter fries oh yeah forget about it nobody can top back the basket Shack nobody.

Great local find. Close to Cotton Mill but need to drive to it. The prices are amazing! I got the burger and battered fries. Highly recommend sticking to the burger if there for lunch. The staff were very friendly to us obvious tourists that were ‘lost’ on their way home from shopping at The Cotton Mill. Want to save some bucks and support local? Go here! The breakfast menu looked great too but we were there for lunch. Breakfast ends at 10:30 according to menu.
