Ali Baba

Was extremely disappointed in quality of the food My usual shop is Ali Baba Queanbeyan and I get the same thing every time A small lamb kabab with hummus, taboli, lettuce and onion, in a large meal. Firstly, the customer service was poor, the girl did not want to be there and neither of the girls we’re wearing gloves. The chips were odd tasting, as if the seasoning they use was completely different compared to Queanbeyan, at least they were fresh. The kabab was awful. The lettuce was old, the lamb undercooked and I honestly think they didn’t put the hummus on at all, even with the mild chilli tahini the whole kabab felt as though it had no flavour at all. And that’s saying something as I sit here and eat the same thing from Queanbeyan. Very VERY disappointed

Tried this place today. Ordered a large mixed meat kebab with the lot as a meal. It came with chips and a drink for around $19. Kebab was nice and I enjoyed it. My only complaint is the chip size was tiny and I mean 15 chips in a tiny little box. The staff behind the counter need to focus on basic customer service like please and thank you, and a smile would also go a long way. It's not all about taking orders, serving food and taking money. We, as paying customers would like to at least feel you want to engage with us. It's a pity you guys made such a lovely kebab and killed the entire dining experience with your poor customer service.
