Mr Cod is my go to chish and fipps!!
I am a grown woman who eats the kids meal. Their meals are rather big. Their chips are amazing too.

A friend brought me here while I was drunk and not being funny it was so good actually amazing ! The only thing I can complain about is that I asked for a plain burger and they gave me lettuce but that’s just me being a fussy eater

One of the better fish and chip shops in the area. Reasonable size chips and fish was ok. I have had better from this place. Maybe it's changed ownership. Can't rank service or atmosphere as it was a delivery order.

Decent fish and chip shop. The chips they serve here are excellent - always cooked just right. The masala cod is nice but the seasoning is a bit too salty. The fried chicken from here is good.
A small cod, chips and mushy peas cost £8.74 which is very good value and the portion sizes were generous especially the large piece of fish. Just about the cheapest I have seen locally.
One negative point is that they put the food in plastic bags - fish and chips should never be wrapped in plastic as the steam causes the food to go soggy. Please use paper bags instead.
