We tried the fish and chips which was great!! They give you the choice between the batter one or breaded!
Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about the steak pie, which looked and tasted like a frozen one that you can buy in any shops.
But, the service and the general menu was great, I would go back for sure! 🌲

Being local to Mhor fish I use it regularly and glad it got kept as a fish and chip restaurant and the food hasn't disappointed! Glad too the restaurant is open as always loved sitting in. Only thing thats a little disappointing is they say 12 till 9 7days per week, however that's been a couple times I've came after 12 like 20 minutes when they should be ready to serve, but they haven't other than that very good fish and chip shop and I recommend!

Today Robert A L took me to Callender Town for a day out, we walking around the river to the Main St, we were passing by a Mhor Fish shop looks clean and went in for lunch, Robert orders sausages and chips and I ordered fish and chips. Haddock supper large portion batter was crisp and light perfectly cooked, tasty decided great value. Best fish and chips I've had. Staff were very nice, Highly recommended! Big Thanks to Robert for showing me to Callender Town I have a great day 🌈 ❤ 😊

We arrived later in the day in Callander and decided, for ease, to have fish and chips.
They were excellent! The haddock had plenty of flavour and the batter was crispy and light, and the chips were crispy outside & fluffy inside- the tartare & curry sauces were a great addition.
We agreed these were the best fish and chips we've ever had, and had them again the evening before we left!

The chips were some of the best I've had as they were seriously crispy which I love. You can tell they are double fried in beef dripping - the taste is there and they weren't soggy, however they really needed more salt and vinegar! The fish was a real decent size but it was a bit tasteless and the batter wasn't the best which is the only reason for not giving it full 5 stars

We came here for dinner after walking all day. Dinner was filling and delicious. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. A great place for locals and tourists alike. The 'chowder' was lovely smoked haddock and salmon. I would give five stars, but they were out of the advertised specials and even most of the beers. The chips were crispy and cooked in beef drippings. I look forward to visiting again.

Amazing staff and kitchen! Many things sounded nice in the menu, so we wanted to share to try more: no problem to share, everything was delicious and portions were still generous (see picture)! +1 for the simply excellent staff :D
