Mr. Chick

A fun dining experience for our team while traveling. They handled our large group efficiently, and they have a large dining area. The restaurant is uniquely decorated and not something you'll find everywhere. The food is good, though it's mostly fried food that will sit heavily on your stomach. Mr. Chick is well worth a visit.

Four piece fried chicken was good. Fries were typical restaurant fries. Lightly salted but not really what one would call seasoned. My wife said her burger was really good. It was too big for her to finish it. The place was clean and there was very little wait time from when we ordered until we got our food. Service was friendly enough. Prices may be a bit high for what should have been a quick lunch.

Very good restaurant, Fried Chicken Masters, honest full luncheon menu. Transforms into a Steak House at night! I used Mr Chick for a catered event last fall, #100 folks, Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, slipper peas, collards, Greek Salad, Spicy Shrimp and Cheesie Grits appetizers, Peach Cobbler Ice Cream. OMG.

This is the chicken capital Cairo. It has been around for decades, and it’s the place to be. Friendly and courteous staff. The food is great and plenty to choose from. My favorite is the chicken strips and the fried chicken. Great place to bring your family and friends to hang out and have a good time. Will recommend for anyone visiting the area.

My 1st visit to Cario, GA and was told I had to get lunch at Mr.Chick. WOW, it was a great call. Jarrett who I met in line and a regular (line went fast) said the Chicken Salad was amazing. After seeing & reviewing the menu and seeing the fried chicken 🍗 in the kitchen I had to pull the trigger on the Fried Chicken lunch with a side of slaw! AWESOME lunch! Met Jason the owner who was going around helping, and making sure his customers were more than satisfied! Great guy, great quality food, bang for your buck, great experience and I will be back! Look forward to trying the Chicken Livers next trip! Happy 50th Jason and Mr. Chick!
