A place, where Sydneysiders should try! This is a casual restarent with a few seats on a street. - but this is a real gem! I have been disappointed by Japanese restaurants in Sydney because of their Korean-Japanese dishes (yes, they can imitate but they cannot deliver real flavour); As a person with Northern Asian background, I have a tongue to distinguish real Japanese food from Korean-Japanese; this is a Japanese food, the food I could taste in a middle of Japan, not one in Japanese restaurant in Korea; and it was Yummy. I regret to know this restaurant very last day of trip, on the other hand, I was very happy to try food before leaving Cairns. I had a pork with egg as recommended by chief- perfect! If I go back to Cairns, this restaurant will be my kitchen! Oh, they are very friendly too!!
