Waffle House

Mostly the food was good. They overcooked my waffle a bit but it wasn't burnt. Our server seemed initially polite and attentive, but once we got our food, she dropped us like a hot potato. She gave us our bill before we even started eating. Maybe she thought my coworker was hitting on her when he was just making conversation. We got no offers for refills on coffee. Nothing. We tipped well anyway.

We stayed in Macon and got to the hotel late late late but we were starving. My mom went to WH and grabbed us some food. It was perfect. Hit the spot. The next morning my daughter (the selective eater) wanted WH again for breakfast. Grandma says "what do you want for breakfast?" And my kiddo says "that same waffle i had last night. " Needless to say, Waffle House is my daughter's new fave.

There was a man and his wife sitting next to us who paid for our meal. It was a blessing for him to do that, he said I was a good man for praying over our food and it was very touching, as we dis not expect it to be after we requested our bill. As always, the waffles, eggs, steak bowls, and drinks were good, Waffle House has not let me down yet. We ate here on our way to a family trip in this area; waitress was friendly, restrooms were clean, and the parking lot was clear of trash. One of the better locations for a Waffle House. Thanks for the great experience.
