Seasons

Our very first week spent away with our daughter, Why not to Buxton (the place with the water), So, a week away there, in August was planned, With enough food and beer to ensure we'd expand, The research was done and the venues were found, Google said all were deservedly renowned, That was their failure, we don't know the reasons, How could it miss off the best - Seasons?! Sarah and Steve both went out of their way, To enhance our visit in every way, So we say to all coming to this old Roman town, Look up this place and quickly head down!! No visit to Buxton could ever be complete, Without a visit to Seasons - make it replete! Thanks for the beer, the effort and the time, You've helped make our stay completely sublime!

Such a fantastic bar! We visited here both nights that we stayed in Buxton and had such a lovely time both times. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they treated us like we'd been going there for years even though we were only visiting for a couple of nights. Their wine is fantastic. They told us how they like the hand pick the wines and only sell ones they are passionate about and certainly shines through. Incredible wines at very reasonable prices for what you're getting. Whilst they do sell other drinks, I really do recommend you try the wines and ask them for their recommendations, well worth it. The venue is cosy and had a fantastic atmosphere the times we were there. Lots of people laughing and joking with the owners which was lovely to see. Highly recommend coming here!

COME FOR THE CHEESE BOARD! Hidden gem - we came here for a post dinner drink and were surprised with the most delicious cheese board we’ve been lucky enough to encounter. This place has a cracking wine & beer selection (we had an excellent cleansing Verdant ale). The staff were a huge part of the experience - very friendly (particularly to our dog). We can’t recommend this place enough - thanks so much guys!
