Mr. Hot Dogs

Don't let the outside deceive you, this place serves up some delicious food! We came here on a Thursday afternoon and we were the only ones there. There's no parking lot so you'll need to park on the street. The decor is gody, quirky, and a little cramped, with the most stereotypical Italian music playing in the background. There is a plethora of hot dogs to choose from, along with some classic Italian dishes. We went with the tater tot dog and the Mexican dog. They were absolutely delicious! Some of the best hot dogs I've had. They're also huge: great for big appetites! Prices were crazy reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place is cash only so keep that in mind. The old man that runs the place was very nice as well. Check out Mr. Hot Dogs for some fantastic hot dogs! You won't be disappointed.

The good first. The restaurant is a tiny hometown restaurant with a very friendly owner and a creative menu. The inside is surprisingly homey. The not so good. We ordered. We ordered the house Brat and the chicken ceaser salad. The brat didn't have the bell peppers and onions on it as advertised. The ceaser salad had nasty slimy lettuce, chicken that could have doubled as jerky, black olives, and 2 little slices of tomato. The dressing seemed to consist of oil and powdered parmesan 🤢. I ate the black olives and couldn't stomach anything else from the salad. We like to support local restaurants and try new foods unfortunately the food was really not that good.

I’ve had my fair share of hot dogs. Made the stop on a cross country trip and was delighted to find a cozy, homey atmosphere that was merely a backdrop to the show stopping dog-a large, delicious hot dog that rivals any I had eaten prior. The star of the show? The bun. Delicious, airy, and delectable. If you find yourself in Butte, it is a must-try

First time going and I got three sandwiches. Mexican dog, Philly dog and Mac and cheese dog is what I ordered and what I got when I got home was 2 Texas dog and the third one not sure what it was. The taste was good just really disappointing to get home and not one hot dog was right. I MIGHT give it one more try. They also do not take cards for payment. Holy cannoli. We stopped for gas on the way home and this place popped up on the map. My husband, who is a vegetarian but understands my love for the dog, drove over and eating here was the BEST decision. I got the New York dog and wolfed it down in 4 minutes. My husband got the 4 cheese pizza and said it was one of the best little pies he's ever had. Get some CASH and stop here even if it takes you off the beaten path a little!!
