Boulevard Bbq

I get that they recently opened but wow what a struggle. This is listed as a BBQ but they were out of most food items at 1pm on a Sunday and the place was empty. The waiter took our order then 40 minutes later he went to check on our order to discover that the order was not in the system because one of the items we ordered was not available. The “brisket” was a dry shredded pot roast that was really hard to swallow. I wish them the best of luck but I will not be giving them a second chance.

The food was not very good and they were out of a lot of menu items. We got brisket sandwiches. They were dry and tasted like they had cooked in a crockpot. Service was friendly, but you should be told that the credit machine is down before you order and not at the end of the meal. Will not be going back.

When we arrived shortly after 9 pm, all of the dining tables were either taken or dirty. It was seat yourself, so we chose the cleanest of the dirty tables. Unfortunately no one offered to clean it and the menus that were there looked messy. If reusing paper menus, they should at least be laminated so that they can be wiped clean. Our waiter, Josh, was very friendly and helpful and gave updates on our order. We got our food in a very timely manner. My son's ribs were good, but the ones on the bottom didn't have hardly any sauce. My cobb salad was very good, although I had asked for no onions and received them anyway. The smoked gouda mac & cheese was delicious, the fries were cooked well, my one son got pasta with smoked gouda alfredo and crispy chicken. The alfredo sauce was very good, although their grilled chicken would have been much better on it, instead of chicken tenders, but that was my son's choice. Overall, the food was good, the portions were plentiful, the service was friendly, they just need to tighten some things up to have more consistency and a better customer experience.

Atmosphere was great, beautiful building though the floor was clearly tilted which was strange... The service was ok, very polite and courteous but the wait was relatively long... Food was delicious and totally worth the wait. Prices are on the higher side but again if you can afford it the taste is worth the cost. Will definitely be stopping here again!
