Can't really attest to the authenticity of Burmese but it feels like a fusion of Indian and Chinese flavors. Tried the tea leaf salad, Burmese pork potato curry and house special noodles. The tea leaf salad was good but not special tasted just like shredded cabbage with peanuts. The house special noodles was a bit lacking in flavor maybe spicy wouldn't been better. Neither of those I works prefer again. The pork curry was amazing! I could eat just that with rice next time. Pork was tender stewed with a rich and slightly spicy red curry sauce. Service was adequate. Large outdoor seating area.

I originally set out in hunt of traditional style Mexican food. The place a few blocks down was so disappointing in atmosphere and smell that I didn't even bother to sit down. So I took to walking and let my nose be my guide. I spotted the unobtrusive red sign claiming Burmese food and thought "what the hey, I'll give it a try." I had never eaten Burmese food before and wanted to try something classic. Josh, the very pleasant young man who waited on me, made a suggestion for Burmese style chicken curry and coconut rice. The chicken in this dish is all dark meat and it was very tender and moist. The seasonings were well blended and not overpowering. The rice was beautifully cooked and had a mild sweet after note that went well with the curry. This is a hidden San Francisco gem.

It's a decent Burmese restaurant in the middle of downtown Burlingame. The menu is pretty extensive. The food was good. Service was OK; on a cold and windy evening we had to fight for the heater and the staff didn't look too friendly.

Good place for some Burmese food. We tried the samusa soup and house noodles, the samusa soup was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, good for 2 people. Another great burmese dish is tea leaf salad. Due to covid, they have set up an outdoor seating area, which is great.

A cozy, family-friendly restaurant with beautiful art and paintings from Burma. Service is nice but expect a bit of a wait on weekends (and a slightly rushed service if I may dare say so 😅- they gave us the bill before we were done eating). I liked that the servers were all wearing nice floral printed shirts. I don’t believe the place is halal which is why I stuck to vegetarian food. Got the following items: - Parantha (think a flaky layered parantha) served with two small gravies. One had a bit of a creamy base while the other one was more on the soupy side. I really enjoyed it. - Special House noodles with tofu. These were flat noodles, mildly spiced with tofu in a turmeric sauce (more on the dry side) garnished with some crunchy fried noodle type stuff and coriander. It was nice although portion size was kind of small. - Spicy veggie curry with okra and cauliflower. This reminded me of an Indian dish called channa Daal. They had cooked some lentils with veggies and spices. It had a warm comforting feel to it but wasn’t as spicy as it indicated. - Burmese iced tea - a more intense version of the Thai iced tea. Served in beautiful tall glasses. I liked the meal overall. Nice place for a family meal or special occasion.

Fresh crisp veggies and perfectly seasoned dishes. The rainbow chicken and rainbow prawns were wonderful. The coconut rice was excellent as was the combination fried rice. The sauteed mushrooms and asparagus was ok but my daughter wanted to order it because she had it there before and said it was delicious. So apparently it was just an off night for that dish. Service was quick and friendly. The prices were a bit high for the size of the dishes especially the coconut rice. But I will definitely go there again. Just don't expect to go home with leftovers.
