Tewksbury Lodge

We hosted my baby shower here and had the best experience with everything! A little backstory: my mom handled most of the planning, and with pregnancy brain, unfortunately, I don’t recall all the staff’s names - sorry! Initially, we booked Tewksbury for my bridal shower last spring. But COVID happened so we postponed it about a year. Then, we embarked on parenthood in between, so my mom pivoted bridal shower to baby shower. And the staff was super kind and accommodating throughout all those changes! The event manager and chef were very responsive, kind, and on-the-ball while planning with my mother. I believe she even added and adapted items for the menu. They basically said - you tell us what you want as far as a dinner. We did an evening shower! For the event itself, all the staff was wonderful. They worked with us on spacing out tables to make it a bit more COVID safe. We also were able to get in about an hour or so early to decorate (even though they had an event before us). The dinner was delicious - we did a plated, served meal and everyone loved it. They also have a separate bar area for folks to go get their own drinks which was great throughout the event. The space was big, bright, clean, and open. We had a lovely view before the sun went down. The venue supplied all the tables, linens, and some seasonal decorations. They also have a large mounted TV if you want to do a slideshow. They let us bring in (mostly) anything we wanted - we brought decorations, flowers, signage, favors, and the desert display. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and an amazing shower! We would definitely host an event here again in the future and most of our guests said the same. Thank you!!

My sister had her wedding here. To expensive in my opinion for this place. Was supposed to have DJ outside but did not. The service was ok. Food was not hot . The price of the food was expensive for what was served. Staff could have been a lot friendlier with all her guest. Just not very good experience. Was just okay

This is a great place for an event all year round but it is especially great on a nice day because they have an awesome porch that looks out over the water and a side yard full of great green space. We set up games out there for a family party and it was awesome! It made it feel like we were at someone’s house. Staff is very friendly and helpful! :)

Second time here for a training event. As a REALTOR in WNY, I like to have a list of places to recommend to clients, and this place is great! If you are looking for a place to have a banquet, reception, training or any other type of large gathering, this place is worth checking out! Space may be a limiting factor depending on the size of your event - but the location along the Buffalo River and the food makes me give it 5 stars!

Choosing to have our Wedding at Tewksbury Lodge felt so RIGHT. Chef Kevin is a heart-centered professional doing what he loves: making sure people are happy & taken care of and making delicious food. The staff were all kind, helpful, and fun-spirited and the process was flexible & relatively pain-free. Our family & friends still rave about different food selections from our wedding- from the appetizers to the late night specialty stromboli. The location was perfect, the views were a dream, and the experience was more than I could have dreamed. We are SO grateful to Chef Kevin and the staff of the Tewksbury lodge for treating our friends and family as more than customers. Our wedding was truly the best day, we were grateful you were a part of it!
