The Nine-eleven Tavern

Featuring a simple menu and only three styles of wings (Hot, Medium, and Mild) this is the place to go for the BEST wings in Buffalo. Large, saucy, and crispy. They don't get better than this. The serving of seasoned fries is generous and oh so delicious too! Nondescript restaurant/bar with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Make sure you have your cash because credit cards are not accepted. I literally have nothing negative to say about any of my numerous visits to this hole-in-the-wall, out of this world locale. Fun fact: the name comes from their address. If you're standing in the bar you're at 9 Bloomfield Ave and if you're in the restaurant you're at 11 Bloomfield Ave. The more you know!

So walking in, I thought it would be disappointing given the appearance. Once seated, I saw the menu and immediately saw the $7 French fries and thought, holy s#!+ that's expensive. Turns out the fries were a whole plateful of absolutely delicious seasoned fries that could easily feed 4 people. Forget the way the place looks. The wings were on the money. Slightly expensive but absolutely worth it. The only reason I give this place a 4 is because they only take cash and I was fortunate to have some otherwise I would be washing dishes

You can call this place a dive cause that's what it is. A old bar very small but I'm not here to be a interior decorator or check the decor. I'm here to try what people tell me are one of the best if not the best wings in Buffalo. Fries wings where AMAZING nothing negative about this place. Jumbo wings chunky blue cheese our waitress was friendly and topping up all our drinks. You want the best forget the rest NINE ELEVEN ARE BEST WINGS I EVER ATE.
