Have tried a couple of times since my previous review below and have to say the fish and chips have greatly improved and are now tasty , with crisp batter .

Ordered haddock and chips , the fish was tasteless and watery not like previous times when the fish was meaty , white and flaky .
Too expensive to risk getting another poor meal so won't use again. Shame as we've used a lot of times previously.

Nowhere near as good as previously. The fish dippers were poor, left them after trying 2. Chips were fine. Disappointing as this was the best chip shop in Brough. Hope this was a one off.

Best fresh fish and chips we've had travelling around England and Scotland for a month

We had a lovely family fish and chip tea. We ordered before hand and the staff were happy and friendly and knew our order and were quick and efficient. We had haddock chips peas and also ordered patties. Everything was delicious and well cooked. We would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Good Friday fish and chips ordered from the funky fish, superb quality and service! Haddock was amazing quality, friendly and efficient staff, best fish and chips I've had in a long time will definitely be back again soon 😊
