Really liked the vegan lamb. Its texture and taste were incredibly similar to a lamb kofta. The sauce was spicy! But offset with a really good salad.
The server put up with us umm'ing and ah'ing about what we're going to have. And a couple of requests that had them searching for things. So got to give them credit there.
In the basement of the Rockefeller center, so it can be a bit busy outside. But we had the entire place to ourselves which is surprising given the quality of the food.

After visiting Samesa for the first time last week, I can confidently say the small but mighty Mediterranean restaurant makes one of the most authentic, high quality, and delicious shawarmas I've had in my lifetime. It's been a personal mission of mine to find shawarma in the United States that competes with what we get in Israel. Samesa fills that void and I am a happier, better fed person because of it. Outstanding.

We chose Samesa to cater a 110-person event for our organization in May. Guests were raving about the delicious food, and the delivery and service were impeccable. Eli was wonderful to work with. He was accommodating of dietary restrictions within the group, and made the entire ordering process so easy. We will definitely be ordering from Samesa again!

Perfect spot to escape the crush of Midtown & have a delicious lunch - great food & great vibes. Shawarma is incredible, but the real star was the avocado hummus. You immediately get a sense of the great care put into the space walking through the door - warm, welcoming & friendly. Great jams from the record player! Highly recommend & will absolutely be back!

Samesa is one of my go-to spots in midtown. Fresh, flavorful, solid portions and great environment. You can't go wrong with the Chicken Shawarma and make sure to order all of the dips!!

The avocado hummus alone is worth a trip to Midtown, and that’s just the start of the meal!! Samesa is the best kind of family-run business where the owners prepare their delicious food with great care. Highly recommend.

I ordered Samesa catering for a work holiday party. The food is absolutely delicious, the pickles and chicken were favorites. Eli is super helpful and responsive with all questions. I highly recommend for all lunches or parties.

Samesa catered our organization’s holiday lunch, and our staff raved about all their food items including the vegan lamb sandwich, eggplant & pickled egg sandwich, kale fattoush salad, and desserts. In addition to the delicious food, they were also very accommodating, responsive via phone, and prompt with delivery. We will definitely consider having them cater another event!

A little oasis in Midtown. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which was the perfect mix of well seasoned meat, healthy sides, and colorful pickled veggies that I will not stop talking about. Shoutout to the staff who were so kind and helpful.

On the beginning I was sceptical to that kind of food. But after I tried it. Everything changed. Cook's up heare know how to connect tastes and structures to made symphony and masterpiece wich will overgrow your expectations. No meat at all, but taste will repay it in 150%
Uncovinient tastes in good doses.
And portions are that big I just fired half of it. So good luck with it.
