Starbucks

Staff is helpful except for one woman who had a tissue stuffed up one nostril today (which in itself is unpleasant.) She was talking to one customer for quite some time. After she ended her convo, when she finally made my drink she didn’t add the topping. I waited for her to finish what she was doing then called for her attention. She pretended not to hear me say “excuse me” multiple times until I specified what I needed and she turned around silently with an angry face and added the topping. If you’re sick, stay home. If you’re in a bad mood, leave it at the door once you walk into work. Overall, not the best experience.

I really like the location of this Starbucks , in winter time you can seat here and drink your hot coffee and not be cold :) or just take a break in summer and buy cold matcha latte and go to see incredible view in two blocks to the river ! Unfortunately there is not good lighting but anyway the place is good

I’ve been to Starbucks across the US and locations across Europe. This Starbucks has the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. The service industry and especially coffee shops can be very stressful and thankless jobs. (Here’s looking at you, Starbucks Corporate. Stop union-busting.) These staff seem to maintain a positive environment of just vibes starting with fantastic Spanish music. I heard the singing get fuller and realized two staff were singing along and just jamming together as they did their work. Absolutely positive environment. I hope each employee gets the kudos they fully deserve and much more. It’s the holiday season as I post this and packed with tourists. Friendly and kind to all, no matter the possible frustrating situations you encounter working in the service industry. It seems like the main thing at play is the chemistry, respect, and care for one another as staff and people. Dancing together as they get stuff done and still efficient at making drinks. Starbucks management, y’all better be giving these people a raise or at least 35-40 hrs a week for full time hours, pay, and benefits. They’re stellar.

I come to this location often before starting my second job. The staff is exceptional. They’ve upgraded my drink when they thought I was waiting too long (I didn’t even notice the time). Everyone always goes out of their way to be friendly, one time I was so exhausted that they brought my drink to during a very busy rush, and brought me with a snack that I didn’t order (but very much appreciated). I have never had a bad experience here!
