I showed up super early so it was pretty empty. Amazing selection of breads. Pastries were good too. Coffee was ok. Staff was nice.

The first business that’s made me wish there were 6 stars. I could eat the croissant sandwich with a soda from their curated selection for lunch every single day. The baked bread is of course divine. Normally I knock businesses for not having seating. Doesn’t even matter. This place is that good.
To be fair to other reviews I’ve seen, they are not winners for customer service.

Recently, I discovered ‘Bien Cuit’ while picking up supplies at the Asian store next door. It’s a bit pricey, but once you taste their bread, you understand why – though it really depends on your appreciation for the unique texture of slow ferment bread.
What impresses me most about ‘Bien Cuit’ is their commitment to their craft, despite the modern trend towards shortcuts and quick fixes. We need more bakeries like this.

Had the chocolate almond croissant and the white bean and pickled onion tartine. The tartine fell a little short because I only had some onion in the middle, but the issue is that the onion is what accentuates the flavor of the bean. Would recommend them having the onion spread evenly across the bread.
Now the chocolate almond croissant. I'm not an avid chocolate fan, and I don't really eat too many croissants, but the moment I had it, my mind went blank and gave me flashbacks of a better time. 10/10 would buy again.

My favorite croissant in the neighborhood! Great flavor and not overly heavy, even better heated up. My only complaint is the sandwich loaf isn’t consistent. Twice we’ve purchased a whole one to find the inside underbaked despite the outside being bien cuit. Not worth the high price.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping in Bien Cuit. I was rewarded with one of the best-tasting sourdough baguettes I have ever experienced. It's a culinary masterpiece that captivated my senses and left me craving for more.
What truly sets this sourdough baguette apart from the rest is its exceptional depth of flavor. The bread exhibited a remarkable complexity that can only be achieved through a carefully nurtured and matured sourdough starter. The distinct lactic and acetic acid notes were present, providing a delightful tang that lingered on the palate without overwhelming it.
It's evident that this baguette was made with great attention to detail and a true understanding of the art of bread-making.
