Dunkin'

Nice Dunks! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food and coffee was very fast, and the whole place is taking Covid safety seriously. Unfortunately for me, but reasonably, their bathrooms are not open to the public at this time because of Covid. There is also a drive through, and the parking lot is large and in good condition. Overall, excellent Dunks.

Came here once 3 days ago, here's what happened: At the drive thru, asked for the 2 bagels for $4 deal shown on the drive thru menu. I asked for 2 everything bagels, employee said they ran out of everything. I then asked if could get it as plain bagels instead, employee said they were out of plain as well. I asked what kind of bagels they did have, and was told sesame, multigrain, and cinnamon raisin. I asked them for the 2 for $4 bagels on the multigrain, and was told to drive up. After paying for this (as well as coffees) my husband pointed out that the bagels were not $4, they were nearly $6. Asked the employee about it, and she said it's because the 2 for $4 bagels were only for plain and everything bagels. I pointed out that I had specifically asked for the 2 for $4 deal on an everything, and then on plain, and finally multigrain since they were out of the former. I asked if the deal was not good for multigrain, why didn't she say something when I said 'can I have the 2 for $4 with multigrain bagels' because that seemed like the time to tell someone that it would be more. Anyways, everyone makes mistakes, but I asked if I could be refunded for the overage, to which she said there was no manager around, I'd need to come back tomorrow to talk to a manager. I get that, I worked retail before.. but I was on my way to the white mountains for a couple days and this dunkies is not a quick drive for me. I said eff it, took the bagels, and drive off. Got 30 seconds up the road before I opened the bag and found that they gave us 2 sesame bagels instead of the multigrain. At this point, I was too frustrated to not go back, so went back through the drive thru and at the window said that she had given me sesame when we settled on the overpriced multigrain ones. I GAVE HER BACK THE BAGELS and asked for the multigrain. She said sorry, but since I had left and returned, there was now only one multigrain bagel left 🤦🏻 I asked again what I should do because now I was charged nearly $6 for bagels that I was never given. She reiterated that I would need to come back when a manager was around. My husband asked her to write on the receipt that we never received the bagels so there's no issue when we come back, so I guess one of these days we'll make the hour trek back to this dunkies and ask to talk to a manager about being refunded for bagels I was never given 🤷🏻
