It was dead, but it was also rainy and a Tuesday. We didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly friendly for babies/families, which is important to us now. We got there early and there was only one or two other tables the entire time we were there.The server was a little strange, definitely not the A-level staff, but that's okay. All the food was really good. The "bread service" is served with a nice marinara and a ricotta spread. It was delightful. Regardless, the value was there, and I'd go back. I think this restaurant fills a need - it's not as high quality as No 246, but it's also not Bambinelli's. It's also not Carabba's or Olive Garden. It's quaint. Check it out for yourself.

This newly opened Brookhaven offshoot of an existing restaurant offers an attractive restaurant and full bar option. The menu is focused on pasta, pizza and typical Italian antipasta with a range of salads and entrees. The Saturday and Sunday brunch menu is served in parallel to the full menu and while we ordered food from the full menu we selected $13 bottomless Bellinis from the brunch menu (a bargain). The pizza was thin, crispy and delicious while the chicken escalope, served with a salad was generous and well prepared. Groupon + is offering 30% cash back on this restaurant making it an even better deal!

We had Sunday brunch and decided to get omelettes which resembled a crepe with a rubbery consistency. No fluff in the eggs. It was cold and filled with cold chicken and Brie. It was very interesting and I asked that it be heated. It was returned and I knew it had been heated because the Brie had melted. Still the eggs were amazingly cold. Needless to say, I ate the chicken only. The Tuscan potatoes with the Parmesan cheese were good as well as the mimosas. Other diners appeared to have enjoyed their dishes—-pizza and pasta dishes. We will come again but will order pizza and hope that we have a better dining experience. Pluses: It is in our neighborhood, server was good/engaged, management was present/chatted with customers and the place is very quaint/nice space. Lastly, the automatic toilet was slow to flush, the bathroom soap dispenser mounted to the wall didn’t work so I had to unscrew the liquid soap bottle and pour the soap out because it didn’t pump. One can only pray that the staff washes their hands given the bathroom challenges——I don’t want to think about it. With some changes, this is promising B’haven establishment.

The food was fresh and tasty. The gluten free pizza was good; just ask for it to be cooked a little longer. They have great salads. Also like the lunch specials: where you can get a huge slice of pizza and a salad or pasta (they have gluten free too) and salad. We have been for lunch and dinner. Our server seemed to be struggling a bit with English and could have been more attentive on the service, although she was very nice.

We ALMOST listened to the bad reviews.... I'm so glad we didn't. The food was absolutely delicious and our service was outstanding! Teryn (our server) anticipated our needs before communicated. I appreciate that when dining out. I only had an appetizer, because we were actually headed to Cine Bistro, and I'm glad that's all I ordered because it was more than enough. I ordered the Lasagna meatballs, my hubby ordered spaghetti and meatballs and we are super stuffed. We will be coming back very soon to try something new. Don't hesitate to give them a try, you will not be disappointed!
