I regret not looking up in google review. Right from the start service was not the best. The guy staff was nice and friendly where as the lady just too all over the places and not friendly at all. Ordered spaghetti and for the very first time it was just horrible. The spaghetti bolognese says steake meat cooked extra time but seriously how bad a spaghetti can be? When it arrived at the table it looked like vomit and the worst part was, it tasted like it looked. My partner without complaint went on with his meal and I was just concerned if he will get sick after eating it! The spaghetti that I order wasn’t too bad beside the over cooked noodle which looked as it they had cooked over night and the not so good looking presentation. We also had drink to start with, where they just served us with a filthy glass. In all honesty would never go back and recommend to anyone. Review will be updated if we end up with food poisoning…

Truly a family restaurant. Please be patient with the staff, they are doing their best as they are understaffed. Despite being under the pump, they were still extremely hospitable and the food was amazing. One of the best woodfire pizza & gnocchi I’ve had. Would definitely come back again and recommended for patrons with patience.

I don't usually leave reviews for places I go but when I saw the 2.5 stars this place had, I had to write something. For the life of me, I can't see any problems with our experience here. The food was great, the staff were polite and attentive, the atmosphere was fantastic. I had already sat down and ordered when I saw the reviews and was a little nervous about the quality of service we'd be getting. Safe to say they far exceeded our expectations! I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in QLD!

My experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Broadbeach has such a friendly vibe and everyone is so pleasant and helpful. But I was treated appallingly by the Italian waiter with the hair bun on Friday 20/5/22 at lunchtime. I asked the waiter for parmesan cheese to put on my pasta dish and due to this he was very annoyed and became very aggressive and smothered my pasta dish with the cheese. I had to ask him to stop applying the cheese. The restaurant was not that busy and usually when I go to any restaurant I usually tip and rarely do I get bad service . When one goes to a restaurant it not just the food but the service that makes a good restaurant. I would strongly advise anyone not to go to this restaurant if you are looking for a pleasant enjoyable experience this is definitely not the place to go.

I was seated quickly but noticed that the table was sticky, it wasn't dirty just sticky like the table needed refinishing. I mentioned it to the staff but nothing happened. A glass was put on the table but alas throughout the entire meal no table water was supplied to fill said glass. The meal was served quickly and was substantial enough to be filling and for the most part quite enjoyable, the calamari was correctly cooked, however I started encountering the dreaded uneatable stringy bits that were not removed before crumbing in the last half of the meal. That is what lost them 1 star. The staff were friendly enough though, albeit forgetful.

Decided to go to this restaurant on a whim at 9:00 pm. The restaurant was practically empty only 3 tables of about 4-5 people. Me and my friend were seated and then ignored for 15 mins until we could order. Our cocktails had barely any alcohol and tasted solely of orange juice. We ordered the bruschetta for appetiser and then 20 mins after we ordered the waitress told us that they ran out of bruschetta.?? So we ordered the garlic cheese pizza which has mountains of glugy fake mozzarella cheese and very oily. We then waited another 40 mins for our mains after attempting several times to get the servers attention. My prawn spaghetti was nice expect for the fact that the prawns were raw.. my friends gnocchi was also raw and glugy. We basically paid $100 for uncooked food served with a side of practically juice .. AND on a plastic plate. When we went to pay, we waited a while to finally get someone’s attention. I told the man of our experience and our raw food and said that we didn’t even bother to send it back as we had already waited so long. He literally said nothing at all for a couple of minutes while he processed a discount, almost like this is a common thing, then after giving us the new amount on the recipt apologised and said “sorry we are understaffed” I appreciate the discount and he did apologise but I would not recommend going here as me and my friend had to go home as we literally feel physically ill from eating the food that we can’t go out and continue our plans for our Saturday night ://

I don’t normally write reviews unless something is really good, or really bad… it wasn’t really good. The only saving Grace was the lone sever, who tried her best to combat the other waitstaff (not sure what their actual jobs were because they didn’t do anything). Food was below average, my partner could make better Gnocci with a jar of Dolmio, and he’s a terrible cook on his best day. Do. Not. Recommend.

What a pathetic pathetic pathetic place. I wish there was an option of no star. The rudest owner (her name was probably Muriel). She seriously needs to learn some etiquettes to speak. Disorganised place. Had to wait for 33 minutes for someone to even come to take the order after we had indicated we were ready to place it . When finally someone came to attend to us, this lady came interrupting, snapping her fingers, speaking in the rudest, aggressive and loudest voice that we had to wait more because they were short staffed or we could leave. We left obviously so can’t speak for the food but it was apparent they didn’t care. Never had a worse experience in a restaurant than this! No wonder they had quite a few empty tables and were taking walk ins on a Saturday night when none of the near by restaurants had any table available! Save yourself the grief….DO NOT DO NOT go there! I seriously doubt the authenticity of the few positive reviews!
