Roll'd

I'll give Roll'd 2.5 stars. The banh mi was alright, not great and not bad. Meat was a little dry and lacked flavour. I didn't have high expectations as it's fast food from a food court. Service was a bit slow for a Mondaypublic holiday. The server was friendly but had forgotten to add my rice paper roll to my order or maybe their system didn't show the extra order that I made. The barramundi avocado roll was also a bit dry, I guess it is pre-made and had been sitting there for a while. Overall, food is average but if you need a quick bite it's not bad. Just don't expect food here to be Inala quality.

Great service, but the food is mediocre. Its a great "attempt" at authentic vietnamese food but it falls short. The Bahn mi lacks authentic flavors and ingredients, the rice paper rolls lack flavor and filling, it's 90% noodles with little to no meat or vegetables. The baos are ok but I expected more. Love the service and atmosphere, but I wish the food was to the same standard.

Ordered a mixed Pho. Chicken and beef. Has one piece of chicken size of 20c coin. A skinny slice of beef about 3x 50c coins I went back to counter and ask if it’s normal, she said yes and was surprised at my question. She showed me the bundles they put in… it was a little bigger than a gold ball. I said it’s by far the smallest portion of meat I have ever received in a pho…. She gave me a bit more….which was nice of her. Still poor effort…. Never coming back here. What a stingy place.

Ordered 4 rice paper rolls. The paper was dry and hard, the beef was dry, each roll flavourless without sauce. I couldn't even finish the tofu one because the salad was so disgusting. All this with two tin y sauce packets for almost $20?!?!? The staff were lovely, but I feel sorry that they have to work for a company that doesn't even sell good food for a reasonable price. Not going back, that's for sure.

The food is OK but unfortunately the service can be really slow and it seems the staff on the Saturday don't communicate very well with each other. I had ordered my meal and after about 10 minutes of sitting down waiting, I stood in front of the counter - the girl who had taken my order could clearly see me standing there and yet my order just sat there, uncovered , out in the open, going cold just near where the Chef had left it-. I waited another 8 or 9 minutes before I asked if that was my order and then a guy came out from the back , wrapped it up and passed it over the counter. I commented that I couldn't understand how it was sitting there all that time and no-one seemed to know what to do. Surely the girl that took my order could see me standing there like a stick in the mud wandering what was going on??? The guy apologized and made me a fresh order. It just seemed the communication between the workers was almost non-existent. Maybe they were just having a bad day- it wasn't busy so anyway , I will try again as the food is really yummy , Hopefully the boss sees this review and has a talk to his employees.
