Excellent pork belly, great accompaniments (garlic potatoes were amazing) cashew cauliflower cheese was sadly very tasteless but otherwise, really really good. Extra gravy and apple sauce appreciated (1 tiny pot of apple sauce isn’t enough for 3 people!) and lovely staff. Unsurprisingly busy with the quality of food on offer.

We came here Thursday 29th Dec for a drink before we went back to the hotel and were greeted by the nicest man who told us it was 2 for £10 cocktails. Of course we ended up staying longer then planned taking full use of that. He was lovely and made delicious drinks. We sat in the outside area which had comfy chairs and heaters. Will definitely return when we come to Brighton

We had an excellent time at Monarch. We were a group of 11 celebrating a hen party. We were so well looked after by Steve and his team. They couldn’t have done enough fir us and ensured that we were having the best time. The food was great. We would definitely go back and definitely recommend for a fun night!!!

Very polite and the staff made us feel welcome. It was a busy Sunday and we were treated very well.
We asked for a kids menu pizza, but the server put in the wrong order. They gave us a full sized pizza but still charged us for a kids pizza.

Rare afternoon off while traveling for work and had the most wonderful lunch with a seaside view in Brighton. Seabass and a glass...just lovely!

Absolutely delicious food (got chicken Sunday Roast and fish & chips, also garlic bread with cheese - all the flavours were absolutely incredible!), only thing was that “while you wait” food came out at the same time as the mains so that was a little inconvenient. However, brilliant value and lovely staff - thank you all :)

Lovely atmosphere at the monarch, good vibes, staff were all very friendly, hospitality was top notch! Had the beef roast dinner and it was to die, must was so tender it melted in my mouth.

This place is a hidden gem the food is UNREAL I go to expensive resturants and none of the food even comes close to this place the chefs are incredible and the atmosphere is first class all the staff are so friendly!!!!! My ABSALOUTE favourite resturant in brighton 🤩😍
