Dickey's Barbecue

I came here for lunch specifically to try their brisket. I figured, if the brisket is good, everything else should be too. And while I waited in line for fifteen minutes, every customer before me ordered the brisket. I thought I was in good hands. I was very wrong. The 1/2 lb brisket that I ordered was mostly thrown away since it was inedible. First, the "pitmaster" didn't know how to carve the brisket and ended up carving my point-end portion with the grain, not against it, which made the pieces chewy and difficult to tear. Second, to my utter surprise, they actually didn't trim the brisket at all. The tough, intermuscular fat and exterior fat (thick white pieces) wasn't trimmed and did not render down at all, which was why nearly all of my portion was thrown out. Third, the brisket was extremely dry and tough, so bad that I couldn't even chew the meat. Fourth, the brisket was poorly seasoned and the beef quality was poor. Fifth, the rock-hard bread was stale and disgusting. Finally, the RBF of the blonde manager was unacceptable and the customer service was terrible. How this place stays in business is beyond my imagination and they should be ashamed to call themselves Texas BBQ. Definitely not southern food and definitely not southern hospitality.

Worst Dickey's ever!!! Ordered online for a pickup time of 8:30pm. When I arrived it was dark inside and the doors were locked while 2 employees were sitting in the back talking. I knocked on the door and they tried to shoo me away. I knocked again, double checking the time (they close at 9) and she finally comes over says "What!?". I said I ordered online and need to pick up my order. She replied saying that they are closed and everything's already put away and they don't have an online order. So, thanks for dinner Dickey's....

I just ordered 5 meals for my team as a Thank You and I hope they don't get sick. The "sweet" ice tea is not sweet. The tea itself taste like dirty water. I'm not sure if the water is bad or you guys don't clean your ice tea dispensers. The sweet BBQ beans don't taste well. Were out of most of the stuff we wanted to order. Definitely not worth the prices you guys charge and definitely not work $78.00.

Where is the owner tonight? The poor staff, first it was beyond hot and they were all sweating, (not healthy) they ran out of a lot of food, the soda dispenser selections was over half empty, the trash had not been emptied & they were so busy they could not keep up. I've eaten here several times & it gets worse each time I come. Better clean-up the act or business will dry up

First time at this location. Probably last time. Got the 2 item plate with chicken and pulled pork. Both pre cold. The chicken tasted ok, would have been really good I think if it was warm. The pork, needs a lot of work and some flavor. Most of the fountain drinks wouldn’t work because the we’re out.

Ordered $30 worth of food and tried to pay with a $100 bill and they wouldn’t except it, they didn’t have Mac n cheese and the ice cream machine was broken , the management said that they’ve been getting a lot of fake bills, I eat there a lot but it seems to look like they have new employees and management,can’t understand how do you run a business without a bill scanner? What if I wanted to order catered food $80 and above?Do I have to pay in $20 bills only?

So I was craving Mac and cheese so my husband recommended we go here. We placed and order online and my husband went in to wait the 15 minute time we were estimated. Our 1 year old was thankfully sleeping in the backseat as we waited. My husband did not come out FOR AN HOUR! I love the food here it is amazing! Many ppl went in and out before my husband got his food! It was a 2 meat plate with a side of Mac n cheese. I am beyond livid. They didn't even offer a refund! Are you serious?!?!? I literally sat in the car with my infant son in a 10 minute parking spot for an hour a tiny side of Mac and cheese. This is so unacceptable. I expect a full refund. On top of all this they forgot one of the sides! This is the worst experience I have ever had at any eatery. This was not due to short staff or running out of food but because no one looked at our order! The store has 3 tablets for door dash and a completely separate system system for online orders that apparently doesn't even get looked at. Another thing is they tried to give him someone else's order. I can't even begin to describe how upset I am.

We like Dickeys, come here often and will continue to do so. I am sure you're wondering why I gave 2 stars so here we go... The place is dirty, always, every time. Dirty. I have never arrived to find a clean restaurant, ever. Tables, floor, serving area, BBQ sauce area, ice cream machine... dirty. You probably think I am crazy for coming back, over and over, and maybe I am. I have had great experiences at other Dickeys so I guess I am just hoping they improve as I like the food. Please get it together!
