Checkers

The fast food was different it was a unique taste to the hamburgers 🍔. It did not look overly grease but it upset Both my daughter's and mine tummies. . All 3 boy's in the house where fine. No one was really was taken with this restaurant. Update Jun 2021 Wednesday 2nd I was requested to give this place another try so I did. I tried something new this time. I tried the chicken burger and Liam order it as will. We both love it. I also tried the sinfully good French fries. I did not think that I would care for them because of the black pepper on them. The black pepper made it taste great. They have a new chicken strips that are covered in the same seasoning they use on the French fries. I want to try it some time apparently it was requested by a lot of people. I will not be buying more hamburgers from here. However I will come here for there chicken 🐔. They offer outside setting.

It's my favorite fast food place to go to. They have the "best seasoned french fries and Funnel Cake fries. I usually pick up food for my dad and myself. Our dogs (Yogi Bear and Boo Boo ) will eat the Funnel Cake fries too. My sister and her husband came to visit from California and I took them there, they loved the Funnel fried, so now when she visits she makes sure to get her Funnel fries. Yes...we make several trips to Checkers..

I have NEVER in my life dealt with an experience like I did at this Checkers in Brandon. Not once, but twice. The first time, I paid to add cheese and stuff on fries that I thought would be separate because my child have a food sensitivity. I was told they would remake the food for me. Then someone came to the window with the WORSE attitude saying they refuse to fix it. That it wasn’t their fault. So I asked for it plain and a refund of the amount I paid extra. She said ok. Until another person comes up and says that she won’t do that. At this point i was just over it and I asked for a full refund. They took my card and said 3-7 business days it should go back. However, it did not. I called corporate and after waiting to hear back from them, they said to go back and at-least try to get the meal that was paid for until I heard back again. I went back. Only for them to literally argue with me for 30 minutes telling me that their General manager (whom wasn’t present but on the phone) said there is nothing they can do. So I spent money, got no food and no refund. I was at-least asking for the food I paid for. I asked for contact info for whoever runs this checkers being that they said corporate doesn’t run this location. The GM was on the phone with the “manager” because she kept calling her. Three times to be exact. And each time she said that the Gm said I was out of luck and that she wasn’t willing to talk to me, or help me. And there was no number to call for someone above them. I’m literally mind blown. They took my money . Literally stole it. THEN tells me had I came back in 3 days that they MAYBE they could have helped me. So it was my fault for waiting the 3-7 days I was quoted by the supposed manager. I have literally lived here my entire life. Was born in Brandon. Always have loved checkers. Eat there multiple times a week. But the way they do their customers here, is by far disgusting. While my child is asking why they won’t help us. Insane! I pray they get new management . The people running this store will run it into the ground. I get it’s not a lot of money. But it’s the principle. Right now every cent counts for a lot of us.

This was an nice an fun stop to get my meal today So first at all the traffic this day was terrible I drove in 60 ave in Brandon FL, and i was hungry the I just Stop and when I order my food everything change to sad to happy and fun I order my food and everybody from the Cashier to the Manager make me fell great with the attention, Also My burger taste delicious and I received an delicious Sandwich for the same price. Ill going to recommend this place 100% because everything from the attention to the food was Awesome...
