Great food! Lovely atmosphere, only fiendish we had to wait about 45 minutes for our meal, that said it was 😋 😋 delicious. This was prawn and smoked Salmon salad..

What a brilliant place! The Black Bull accommodated eight of us for Sunday brunch at short notice when we were let down by another restaurant in the village. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant. We didn't mean to go there originally but the place we wanted to go to didn't serve food and we were so glad we ended up here. Cosy looking pub with a huge garden, we fancied the larger menu that was in the restaurant. We got seated in the bar area as the restaurant was really full, we did have to wait quite a bit to get served, all of them were really busy but so friendly and apologetic we didn't mind. But the food...my goodness it was incredible. Could not fault it at all and it was worth every penny, next time will definitely book even if it's a Monday. 10/10

Excellent food and 5🌟 service. Thoroughly enjoyed my mixed grill. Others in our party of eight had various selections from the menu - the Burgers were popular - along with Beef Burginion, Ham egg and chips, Lamb etc. All plates finished! Shame it's so far for us to get to (3 hours), otherwise would be a regular. 🙂👍

think it’s only been swapped around recently pub area is now restaurant area but sure the bar are in new pub site will get a makeover!
Would have appreciated more choice of good wines to go with the lovely food they serve?

The Black Bull at Brampton is a traditional village pub located in the village of Brampton. It's been around since the 16th century, and it has a great reputation for its freshly cooked meals. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and they have a vibrant beer selection to choose from.
I recently visited The Black Bull in the week to meet a work colleague for lunch. We were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our table right away. The menu had plenty of options to choose from, including delicious starters, mains and desserts. We decided to try the Chilli chicken, ploughman's plater and chocolate mousse - all of which were absolutely delicious! To top it off, we also enjoyed some delicious cold white wine while we chatted away.
Overall, we had an amazing experience at The Black Bull at Brampton. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a cozy spot with good food and drinks!
