Shawarma Queen

Hands down the best tasting shawarma I’ve ever had, not to mention amazing service! The young lady that served me was super friendly, patient and informative with suggestions. The only thing I didn’t like was the price you pay for the portion you get - I spent $13 for a small (maybe I’m just bitter because it was so delicious and I just wanted more!) Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant!!

Always looking for quick options on weekends when running errands. The falafel wrap fits perfectly in many aspects quick, can eat in the car and can easily be made vegan. The falafels were fried fresh which is a huge plus for us. Don’t like when places will falafels that are frozen or pre-fried. The staff is knowledgeable about sauces which is again a plus and the place has decent number of toppings. The wraps cracked while grilling made it hard to eat a bit in the car. The taste was good as it is expected in a wrap. Wish they had more vegan options for sauces.

Chicken shawarma plates were really great! The brown spiced rice is unique and has a cinnamon flavour. The regular yellow rice is also great. I enjoyed everything here. Chicken was good too. I wish they would cut the chicken in front of me though instead of store it in the containers. I know it’s easier for them but the experience of having it shaved off the rotary is really nice and leaves the chicken juicer and not as dry. Overall still 5 stars. I hope my review doesn’t change in the future.

It seems that the ownership has changed and this spot is starting to go down under. I ordered a Chicken Kebab Plate today which costed me $17.50 and the portion size was not satisfactory compared to previous orders (See picture). I spoke with the manager (Kiran) and was told that this was the standard portion based on what we ordered. Food always tastes great but you really aren't getting much for your money.

I came to Shawarma Queen as per a friend recommendation. It was my first time at this Business. The young lady that assisted me, was very helpful and polite (Tuesday May 24th at 9:40pm). After I made my order and paid, I asked for the washroom. I was told that they are closed. I told her that I have a long drive because I live in Guelph. She kindly went inside to ask someone and she was told that due to the time, it was closed. The business closes at 10pm. Why are you going to prohibit the access/use of the washroom during business hours? The time was 9:45pm. The food was tasty but very salty. I won't come back and I do not recommend this Business!

I very much like the food of this place. I was always a vegetarian and never liked chicken or beef and believe me when I ate at Shawarma for the first time .. it was fabulous. And now it’s one of my favourite restaurant. Oh! And it’s always fresh! And the employees too are friendly and quick.You guys must Surely visit the place and ya do try the chicken poutine!! It’s one of my favourite.
