Had a large donner last night , also a chip butty , both were very tasty and there was plenty of salad on my kebab

Absolutely love this place, been coming here for years. The chicken kebab and chips is the best I’ve had and the chicken nuggets too. It’s proper quality chicken and plenty of salad not like other places where they give you a single tomato and lettuce leaf. So much nostalgia from lockdown when I used to come almost everyday.

I absolutely loved the chips from here. High quality potato flavour and the most incredibly fluffy insides with one of the crunchiest outsides I'd ever had. The fish as well!! My god. We got 2 bits of haddock and they were both cooked to perfection. Had a super tasty batter and it must have been the freshest fish I've experienced in a long while. Probably caught earlier that day. You won't be disappointed. Actual S-tier+ fish and chips.

This take away has several food options but I always go for the fish & chips which are always freshly cooked to order, tasty, hot & great value. I've tried all the local chippies near my home & find all of them awful, so I'm happy to go out of my area to get chick king food. Service is always polite & friendly, the cost is reasonable too. I've been using this take away for years now & haven't found a place that can match it. Keep up the great work Chick King!

I been going at Chick King mostly for their fish and chips as is good quality, nice butter on the fish and well drain chips no oli as I like it.
However I tried one of their burgers at weekend wow yes again nice meal one of the best I have in ages.
Years of experience into perfection can't beat that allways recommend Chick King.

I have been going to Chick King my entire life.
They are practically family to me in there.The food is extraordinary and delicious.
At Christmas they give me a free order because I'm a local and have been supporting them through thick and thin.
There chips never dissapoint.
It pains me to see people rating them so harshly.
I would rate a 100 if I could.

Came here for the 1st time tonight and the food is incredible. My husband had the large cod and he 9/10 times always complains anywhere, in his words the fish was beautiful and the burger I had a was cooked to perfection, no grease dripping and so much bigger than I expected. To top it off the owner was extremely polite and friendly , can't wait for our next takeaway night.

Stumbled across the chip shop in southbourne and very glad we did, food is exceptional, burgers, chicken nuggets and chips all cooked to perfection.
The shop was also spotlessly clean.

Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Top quality service too. Wanted to come back the next day but our schedule didn’t allow.
Fear not, we will back soon, most of the motivation to do so will be to visit Chick King!
