Excellent choice, such great service, likely the best I've had in any restaurant for a long time. Hopefully more vegan and vegetarian food coming, perhaps through the specials? Oh and minor point but can you choose your red lampshades to match please, red, red and red don't always go together ;)

This place holds the top spot for me. The staff are wonderful, very friendly, and the chilli beef steak is probably my favourite ever meal... I think I must have had well over 20 by now! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Only downside is that they haven't created a loyalty card yet 🤣🤣🤣

Wow what a wonderful restaurant. Delicious food, wonderful service and a really nice ambiance. Tilly and Lynne were superb and really went above and beyond. We were only staying In Southbourne for 2 nights but we enjoyed our evening so much in Dicky’s we went the following night as well. What a gem. Thank you.

We were a party of 6 who were celebrating a joint birthday dinner. We had amazing food and drinks, the staff were so very welcoming, polite and humorous. We were especially pleased with Lynne, who was an amazing hostess. She did not only manage to get us a few things that weren’t on the menu, but she was incredibly warm and very funny. Thank you so much

What a lovely restaurant! We went for a Sunday roast and cannot fault this place. 5 stars all the way! Impeccable service - thank you Lynn! The food was awesome with perfect portion sizes and fantastic value for money. The atmosphere inside was beautiful. Everything was just right! It is so nice to have a wonderful restaurant on my door step! I'll be back soon!

Every time we visit, we are never disappointed. Wonderful selection of drinks and delicious food. The atmosphere is really lovely and the service is always spot on, friendly, knowledgable and polite staff. Our favourite restaurant by far.

Very nice meal indeed. Good service, helpful explanation of gluten free options, and good choice of food options. The special (sea bass, see photo) was a very generous portion. We'll definitely go again.

The best Sunday roast in town. Period! We do enjoy our eating out and have been to many restaurants in the area and Dicky’s is by far the best all round traditional, no fuss, straight forward restaurant, with great food and impeccable service and atmosphere. We’ve been there many times and they’ve never failed to impress!

Great evening for my wife and me. Busy on a Monday night is a good sign which, alongside the upmarket decor, made for a good atmosphere, plus friendly, fun and very attentive service. All desserts made on site, great selection of novel but reasonably priced drinks and good portion sizes. The two or three meal set menus are affordable and tasty. We really enjoyed ourselves and heartily recommend. Been again more recently too, £5 for a non-alcoholic can of beer is a little pricey though, but still great overall!
