As someone who lives a stones throw from this pub but rarely went in , I have to give massive credit to the new management who've turned it around. Absolutely everything is better now - the food is well prepared, the beer is kept better, the staff are eager to please and it's now a pleasure to visit.

Great pub with two bar areas (three incl the "snug" bit); excellent beer, food & service - a vast improvement with the arrival of new management in June '23. Sky/TNT Sports shown on multiple TV's when big matches and sporting events on. Discounts available on the Season Ticket app. Very reasonably priced food. Lovely, friendly, atmoshere from the staff and fellow clientele of all ages. Brilliant. And do I hear of newly refurbished toilets in the pipeline? (No pun intended!!!!). And do I hear of possible new up-to-date 4k TV's coming? Watch this space!!!!! Very good VFM and highly recommended.

I hired the attirum in the pub for my baby shower and it did not disappoint. Such a great space, we had over 40 guests. The room was light and had so many facilities in it. The pub were so flexible with allowing us to do what we wanted and create my dream day! Thank you so much to everyone. ❤️ Also, side note the night before I hurt my foot whilst setting up (purely an accident, I tripped over a table being 8months pregnant by balance is off) and the staff were so helpful got me ice straight away and helped me with water and anything I needed. Very attentive

Wow! What can I say about this place. The food is lovely - we had a Sunday roast and at the price it's amazing value for money. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming - seen a a massive improvement since the new management took over. Tony was incredibly accommodating to me and my fussy toddler. The atmosphere here was so upbeat. Highly recommend - will definitely be returning
