Caffe Sole

My husband and I visit Caffe Sole several times a week since we live in South Boulder, and it’s honestly the best latte this side of town. You also cannot beat the view if you like to spend some time working from a coffee shop, or sitting out on their outside patio on better weather days. I love how they decorate their outside patio come spring with a lovely selection of flower pots too! The only reason I don’t give it that extra star on my review is that compared to other local spots, I feel they are missing some of the perks I enjoy at other cafes throughout Boulder. And sometimes you walk in, and there’s only one barista working (and taking orders) and the line is out the door and it can be frustrating. Also, I love breakfast sandwiches, but half the time they are out of their gluten free bread. They also don’t offer any gluten free options such as pastries as the other coffee shops do throughout town. One of the coolest things about Caffe Sole is their music nights, where local jazz artists will come play and you can sit down with friends and have wine. Whether you want to sip your latte on a gorgeous blue sky day on their patio, or watch live music at night, you will not regret visiting this amazing South Boulder gem!

Was a regular customer getting coffee and breakfast sandwiches several times a month for years, even as the price steadily increased and the quality did not. Unfortunately the last few trips the employees were kind of rude, and biscuits were dry. Today I tried calling in my order as I was in the area running errands and whomever answered the phone rudely told me they don't take phone orders but to use the website (called in orders100 times before) and when I said I was driving at the moment and couldn't use the website he said "huh sorry" and hung up on me. Sadly drove away a long time customer, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on, and recommend others do the same. This place is nothing but "new boulder" hipster vibes now, save your money.

This place blows...and they don't have Cuban coffee...and the dude making the coffee is hella rude and passive aggressive...AND they automatically charged me a 20% gratuity without asking or telling me. That last bit is the only reason I'm wasting my time to review this place. $29 for a sammich, mocha, and juice box.
