Good Mexican food. Great place to escape without going south of the border. The set up is much like a restaurant in some tropical resorts. Nothing fancy but very good food. Good quantity.

I thought this place had great food and an interesting atmosphere! Okay, the place is not fancy by any means, but the almost shanty-like appearance gives it that hole-in-the-wall feel that comes with so many of the best local restaurants in the U.S.! The table salsa was surprisingly flavorful and spicy. The meals were nicely presented and tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the quality of service was great! It's now on my list of Mexican-food favorites in the Boulder region!

truly incredible food!! the staff is phenomenally kind as well. ate an atrocious amount, and adored every second of it. i’ll be back to eat until i explode very soon.

If ever there was a place called a "local" hangout, then this is it. Situated on the outer edge of North Boulder is this Authentic Mexican Restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of choices. If you're not careful you'll fill up on the chips and salsa, full of flavor, that has some heat on it. The food is has just enough spices for a great taste. I was lucky enough to be treated to dinner here and it was the best tasting Mexican food I've had in a long time.

I’ve been to Wapos several times and each visit is great! Their house margaritas and sangria are super delicious. The apps and entrees are yummy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is very authentic and welcoming.

visited upon recommendation... food was alright - was hoping for more spice. service could have also been better. i doubt i'll be back
