Pasta Jay's

We have eaten here several times, and have enjoyed the food. My brother recently reported he ate here, and there were issues. Tonight it felt like they had too many tables jammed together, the staff could barely maneuver, and it felt a bit uncomfortable. We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts as an Appetizer, inquired about it once, was told they would be right out. They never appeared. After our main course was served eaten the waitress told us again they would be right out...Ummm... We explained that the appetizer was intended to be eaten before the main course, not after. I understood that perhaps they are understaffed, but that felt a bit odd. My friend felt the spaghetti sauce had too much oregano for her taste. My Chicken marsala was good, and I enjoyed the Chicken Gnocchi soup. Pasta Jay's tends to be good most often, but can be a hit or miss experience.

DONT waste your time. For waiting over an hour, beyond disappointed. For the price? You’re better off eating at a drive through or a microwaveable meal. Presentation was decent. Pasta was dry, little to no flavor in each meal, and the meat was gross and dry. The Parmesan cheese on the table had to have the top taken off and stabbed with a knife before we could get any out. Probably was changed last year? I’ve tasted better meals when I had Covid with no sense of taste.

Super cute location and ambiance. Great Italian menu. Service was slow, but our waiter was very kind. Every other person we interacted with was not friendly or welcoming. We definitely did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling. And then the quality of food and drinks was not great. Frozen pizza and boxed wine would probably be a good comparison. We won’t go back, I am sad to say.

The Buffalo ravioli in marsala sauce was definitely the star of the show! Delicious flavor. The Alfredo was a little lacking in taste but still good. The portions are great! The tables were kinda close together and our waitress was really slow at the end of the meal, but I love Italian food and I would definitely come back just to try more of their dishes!

You walk from busy pearl street into a quaint little Italian restaurant with an ambiance that might be close to something in a small town in Italy. Lovely atmosphere, great service and food was great. I got the beef rigatoni and the sauce had so much flavor. The only thing I would change is the music. Not so loud and play something Italian to go with everything else. So pretty good over all.
