Sa Pa

Pretty decent lunch spot and good food for fast casual Vietnamese (don't compare it to an actual Vietnamese restaurant). A few things to note: 1) they don't use the usual sized vermicelli found in most Vietnamese bowls 2) they don't tend to give enough dressing so make sure to ask for extra and 3) their shrimp isn't charred the way it I'd want grilled shrimp to be. The third is the only real complaint I have about their food. Otherwise, I've always enjoyed my lunch from them.

SA PA is clean and the people are friendly and willing to walk you through the 'bowl creation process' while a smile! Amazing service overall. The food is healthy, far from greasy. The chicken is melt in your mouth absolutely delicious and the ginger miso sauce is YUMMMM. Today was the first time I visited in a few months, after seeing them pop up on Food For All. Knowing that they care about reducing food waste makes me love SA PA that much more 🥰

Loved it. Loved the design of the place, ornate painted wood, antique industrial fixtures, big windows looking out to an open, busy intersection. Great service with thoughtful advice. Delicious and unusual wine and beer. Pho was yummy, spicy, seed with fried dough. Fresh sauteed greens felt so wholesome and nourishing to eat. Crispy homemade egg rolls. Warm, friendly delicious.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Sa Pa. They just launched dinner service a couple weeks ago and it is really great. Had special spring rolls for the new year that we handcrafted and utterly delicious, and for dinner I had the sticky rice - never have I had rice sticker and with such perfectly crisped meat bits. My companion had the Pho which was a good size, warming, and came with the veggie toppings on the side so you could add at your leisure to ensure crispness. I preferred my rice, but then that's what I was in the mood for. Those spring rolls though... Oh boy. We got another order as dessert. Also a nicely curated beer and wine selection. Great place to grab dinner on the way home or for a pleasant break during a long work night.

Fast and inexpensive ($10) lunch place. Tip: go around 1pm for that off-peak relaxed feeling. Shredded pork or beef is filling and delicious on top of green salad with "everything" - don't miss those amazing pickled shredded carrots! They offer vegetarian-friendly tofu option, and choice of rice noodles, brown rice, or mesclun salad as a base...I'm just so into the salad with a pile of shredded meat on it, I haven't tried other options, lol.
