The service here is great and quick. The food was pretty good too, had a burger and the Irish curry with fries.

Very pleasant, quiet, pub place that focuses on basic pub food. Great place to grab lunch with colleagues, or even to grab a bite by yourself. I had an excellent Greek salad (good amount of feta and olives) and a Broadside burger. Attentive service.

I'm updating my review because I came here again and was massively underwhelmed. We got the Buffalo cauliflower app, which was $16 for a bit of (maybe steamed?) cauliflower pieces drenched in sauce. Other times i've gotten this app at other places, it was at least toasted or fried, or something done to the cauliflower itself to improve the texture and flavor. Then 3 of us got the veggie burger, which was soggy and lacking in flavor. When I came last time, I got the Irish curry and that was really good. But my 2nd experience here really affected my opinion on the food.

Broadside Tavern was easy to find. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was delicious and portions were generous. It was lovely to meet Theresa and be welcomed from Ireland. A place we would visit again for sure.

Went to Broadside Tavern while in the Boston harbor area to grab a bite with friends and our kids. It was a very pleasant experience with a straightforward menu and plenty of accommodations for everyone (some in the party are on a gluten and dairy free diet). I ordered the steak tips and they were delicious! It came with broccoli and it was cooked to perfection too. Everyone was pleased with their meals and I thought the prices were very fair. Our server was super nice and like I said above, accommodating. I will definitely be going back when in the area.

I ate here while in town for the Boston Marathon this past April. This place has it all! Great food, great service, great cold beer, and fun filled locals!! You can't go wrong!!

Quiet, friendly bar for someone travelling alone. Took a weekend trip to Boston on my own and chose this place near to The Dagny hotel based on its reviews - it was great. There are plenty of booths, and lots of bar seating. I don't enjoy sitting at the bar, but the server was more than happy to seat me at a booth. He was very friendly and kept checking on my beer level (I had the Sam Adams seasonal Oktoberfest which was great... when in Rome!). I had the "Irish" curry and rice for food which was tasty. I sat around 5pm on a Friday so it wasn't too busy, and there were always booths available. They had sports playing on the TV which gave it a nice atmosphere. I recommended this place whether you're alone or not!

I come to broadside every single time I’m in Boston. It has never disappointed. The food is amazing, the restaurant has a great ambiance, and the service is always so friendly and welcoming. The best compliment I can give is that if I lived in Boston full time this would be my cheers style bar.
I highly recommend the chowder and the sesame chicken salad. I order the salad every time and it is consistently good. I’d love to know how they manage to get the sesame seeds to stick so well to their chicken because every time I try to recreate it I fail.
Definitely check this place out if you’ve never been before. I’m already counting down the days until I can go again!
