Kindly Kitchen

Unbelievably good. More like outstanding!! These guys are something special. Rarely will you find any vegan restaurants that have this kind of talent in enhancing the natural flavors of an ingredient...and then pairing it so perfectly with other ingredients. We travel everywhere and this may be a “hole in the wall” but it is big on talent. The menu literally changes everyday based on the ingredients dropped off my local growers. Staff is super helpful and talk about how only local ingredients are used. They have passion about what the create and serve and it shows. Wish there were more vegan restaurants as good as this one. Kindly Kitchen is the real deal.

This was a really cool spot! I love all the plants and art inside the space, amazing vibes! Plus the fact that it's a vegan peanut-free facility really made me feel at ease about the food. There's not really an extensive menu, but in my opinion there doesn't need to be! The food is super healthy and fresh, and the guy working there was very helpful, friendly and chill. There's even a nice view from the window in the side room! It can be a little tricky to find the first time, but so worth it!

Ordered food twice for our freshly minted 21 year old daughter while vacationing in the Boone/Blowing Rock area last week... both occasions asked the employee (cannot remember her name ~ apologies!) to let her do her magic in picking the contents of the dish -- only directive being, "make it fantastic!' Both times Kindly Kitchen nailed it... our daughter loved it and said both times, "This is some of the best food I've had in years. The flavors are amazing!" I guess a dad can still set-up a cool surprise for his daughter... thanks Kindly Kitchen!!

Best vegan food you could ever imagine. Located in a loft shared with a yoga studio this place has great vibes and kind employees. Every day they make their own dishes from scratch that you can pick and choose from. All their food is locally sourced too! Please dont miss a chance to stop by this place. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian give their food a try! You wont be sorry.

I no longer live in Boone and I constantly find myself craving Kindly Kitchen. I live in a big city now and I still haven't found anything that compares to Kindly Kitchen. This restaurant is great regardless of whether or not you are vegan and/or gluten free. They make healthy food taste amazing.Try this place if you are looking for a unique, local and healthy dining experience!

I had trouble finding this little gem but once I did I was pleasantly surprised. Kindly is located in the upper story of a building right on the main strip there in Boone. Its one of the coolest Vegan places I've ever eaten at. The service was top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone... Vegan or not. The food is locally sourced, tastes great and its healthy! What else can ya ask for? :) Will definitely go back.

Delight! Deliish! Everything about this place made me feel good. The food was amazing. The building, decor and ambiance made the whole experience feel like an adventure. The workers are wonderful; happy people engaged in meaningful work. My body felt great after eating all that whole, fresh food. The flavors were amazing. If you want an experience that is good for your body, mind, spirit and palate, this is the place for you!

Vegan and gluten free is a niche wthin a niche and makes dining out extremely difficult. But Kindly Kitchen has amazing, fresh, local plant-based food that doesn't come anywhere near gluten. The entire menu is safe for my restrictions! And not only that, the food is creative and delicious and served in a really chill atmosphere. I will definitely be back for more!

Not vegan or vegetarian; still loved it. The cooks pay a lot of attention to the texture and spice so the food's really satisfying. The smoothies (esp the avocado/chocolate/date one!) are delicious. The menu changes daily. My favorites have been their sweet potatoes, peaches, and these battered fried things and roll them in crunchies and spices (I could eat a bucket of them). Great place. Little tricky to find -- you have into "The Shoppes at Farmers", go all the way back and left up the stairs -- but it's beautiful atmosphere once you get there with nice seating. A good place to talk. The people working there are have always been friendly and accommodating as well.
